The party was smaller than the one they went to before, less loud and crowded. They quickly found their friends in a corner of the house, sitting on the floor in a circle with other students they befriended.

When Minji saw the cat-like girl coming, she made her sign to sit next to her. “Come over ! We're going to play a game.”

Haerin did as she was told without much questions. “Dani, you're not playing ?” She asked when she saw the mixed girl walking up to Hanni, their designated driver for the day.

Danielle took a look at their formation and shook her head. “Nah, I think I know what you're going to play and I don't want to drink too much tonight.”

Haerin frowned in confusion as a girl named Karina started to talk to the group. “The rules are simple. In turn, we’ll get a chance to ask a question to a chosen person. The person has two choices, either tell the truth or stay silent and down a shot. If the person chooses to take the shot, her turn is canceled and we move on to someone else.”

Haerin sighed and pinched Minji's leg for tricking her into playing this game. “When we go home. You're dead.” She whispered.

“Since you're the one we know the least about. Let's start with you, Haerin.” Giselle said.

Minji simply chuckled at the annoyed look Haerin gave her.

She took a deep breath. “Fine. Come at me. What do you want to know ?”

Giselle clapped her hands, visibly delighted that Haerin accepted her fate. “Okay. So my question for you is : why do you reject all the people that hit on you ? There must be a reason you don't give any of them a chance.”

“I just don't take interest in relationships for now. I’m focusing on my degree.” Haerin replied, trying to play it cool.

“What a lie…” A sarcastic comment unconsciously slipped Hyein’s mouth, drawing everyone’s attention.

Haerin's eyes widened, feeling betrayed by her friend. Hyein finally realizing she accidentally attacked Haerin made a little gesture to apologize to her but it was already too late.

“No lies allowed. You take a shot as a penalty and we continue with you.” Karina smirked.

Haerin sighed and downed the shot Minji poured for her as Ningning giggled at the question she was about to ask. “Let me reframe Giselle's question. Is the reason you're not seeking to date someone is because you already have a partner ?”

As Haerin put down her glass, she turned towards Minji. “Pour another one.” She said.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” Ningning laughed while Haerin drank her second shot in a row and the game moved onto someone else.

However, every time Haerin’s turn came back, it was like everyone except Minji and Hyein was in league against her to learn more about her partner. They were all taking it seriously as if they had to solve an important case.

Haerin, knowing she couldn't just keep taking shots, spread some informations here and there. For now, they knew that she was going out with a girl and that she was from their university and didn't live at the dorms. Slowly narrowing the options, Karina asked at some point if her partner was Hyein which led Haerin, Minji and Hyein herself into an uncontrollable laughter. Even Hanni, who was chatting with Danielle a bit further, cackled when she overheard their conversation. That led Karina to understand that she was on the wrong track.

However, Danielle got her feelings hurt from it. How could they think of Hyein before her ? Not that she wanted to be caught by the group but she thought they were stupid for not finding the evident answer.
