Lost Legends

Chapter 1

Percy, Thalia and Nico had volunteered to look into a place that had a lot of odd activity that could have been tied to Demigods or a possible villain that could be threatening them. although the latter wasn't likely it was still an option that the three had to keep in mind. This was meant to have been a quest for other demigods however once they overheard Chiron talking about it with Hermes via Iris message the three volunteered much to the shock of both men. Hermes had invited the three of them up to Olympus to explain to the council why they wanted to do this and their response was simple, in some ways it was incredibly humble of them and the fact that they weren't thinking of themselves but thinking of others Made the big three smile at the thoughtfulness of their children. They had explained that it had only been a few months after the giant War and everything was still needing to be repaired. They had lost so many allies and family members to this war just like they had the second Titan War. there was also the fact that the Greek and Roman demigods although a good terms of one another one hundred percent comfortable working together so instead of making the gods choose where it should be Greek demigod children or Roman demigods to take on this quest the big three decided to offer their services to make sure that that wasn't any strife between the two sides. their final response was quite literally everyone deserves a break. The gods had discussed it then and there in front of the three and then came to the conclusion considering that they had volunteered for it with a good reason; they saw no reason that the three shouldn't be allowed to continue. so that was what they did. The Greek children of the big three left the camp for the following day giving hugs and smiles to everyone. that had been months ago. four months to be exact and to say everyone was concerned was an understatement. no one has heard a single thing from any of them, not even the gods. At first it wasn't a concern for they all knew that these particular demigods could handle themselves better than any of them could ever understand yet the big three had a nagging feeling that something was wrong.

*Olympus*

Hera had been walking through her Gardens watching over the plants that bloomed with such vibrant colors that could make a person become lost in them for hours on end. Her dress was simple even though being the Queen of the gods she liked simply walking around in something simple especially in her Gardens, the head dress she wore made her braided hair stand out even more than it already did made it look more luscious than shiny then it ever had been. granted that isn't true considering that being a goddess looking Exceptional pretty much every second of every day was normal and took little effort. However, even being accompanied by the nymphs and Peacocks in The Gardens she loved so much the Queen didn't feel such joy as she had many times before. a deep worry pained her heart as she stared off into the flower beds in front of her. In this particular flower bed was an assortment of common flowers: bluebells , daisies and a few red roses so there was no reason for her to be staring so intently at these flowers unless there was something on her mind. Many of the nymphs in her garden had noticed the Queen's silence yet none questioned it for they knew there was something bugging the Queen as there was the entirety of Olympus and both camps none of them wished to make the situation worse by Simply reopening that worry. a small whisper could be heard falling from her lips so quiet that you wouldn't have noticed she said anything if you weren't standing nearly centimeters from her, " where could you be? we just want you home."

that sentence would most definitely have surprised the nymphs who were around if they had heard it. for they knew exactly who she was referring to the children of the big three one of which was Zeus's own and it was no secret to anyone that Hera wasn't all that fond of her husbands demigod children. So the fact that she showed so much worry for them would have most certainly raised questions that the Queen definitely did not want to answer. It wasn't just the queen of Olympus who had shown such curious concern for her husband's Demigod child, it was also the queen of the underworld and queen of the sea who showed that concern as well. The three women had never shown kindness towards these children and yet it seemed that they worried for them as though they were their own. It wasn't like the rest of Olympus wasn't concerned over their disappearance but it was incredibly suspicious in some ways that the three of them were showing such concern, yes those three had done so many great deeds for the world but so had many of their husbands other demigod children and they'd never shown such concern before.

Entirely lost within her own thoughts Hera didn't even notice that her husband was standing behind her. he had been for up to 10 minutes. It even made his presence known at one point yet the queen didn't move a muscle, didn't tilt her head slightly or acknowledge his presence at all. so when he wrapped his arms around her resting his chin on her head she then looked up at him realizing who it was.

"My lord husband." was all she said attempting to smile but not convincingly enough.

Zeus knew there was something bothering his wife as did Poseidon and Hades knew with theirs but none of the three have been brave enough to ask. which was quite ironic the three most powerful Olympian gods afraid to ask their Queens what had been troubling them, it had been quite some time since they had all gotten on with each other their relationships had been Rocky at best for many years so it was basically like teenagers at this point none of whom knew what they were doing in a relationship situation.

" my wife, what's been on your mind lately." he asked. The last time his wife was upset she disappeared for months even up to a year the same with Persephone and Amphitrite when they were upset with his brothers and then they all returned home as though nothing had happened. they're disappearance had caused the big three to be concerned and worried. so none of them wanted it to happen again. Hera answered as vaguely As possible, "what's worrying everyone right now." The king of Gods was surprised he didn't expect for his wife to openly admit being concerned for his demigod child when it was a well-known fact that she had no feelings towards demigods especially his. "They shall be found or they shall return on their own as though nothing had happened we shouldn't worry ourselves too much."

" this is coming from the man who spent the last four months tapping his finger upon his desk or throne or whatever surface you could find thinking about impossible scenarios over and over again." she replied in the most sarcastic tone that had ever fallen upon her lips. Zeus was taken aback at his wife's words he hadn't noticed that he was doing such things for yes he was worried for Thalia and perhaps maybe even a little worried for his nephews, although he'll never admit it, but he was the king and had to stay strong for the rest of Olympus. The king and queen stood there in silence for a good while before the sound of the Bell for the summer solstice council meeting rang throughout all of Olympus breaking them from their silence.
