Chapter 6- A new quest 

Three years after that day the demigods seemed to be doing better. At first they were cold and distant to everyone. Especially their godly parents. They didn't want to be anywhere near them, that was until the nightmares started all of them would wake up screaming cowering away from their parents wishing for someone to save them. It took a lot but they are much better now. Those cold deminors are still present most of the time but who they were still make appearances more often than they used to. Over these three years more things have been found that have now given them the location for the villains hideout. 

“Well do it” percy yelled entering the council room of olympus accompanied by all of those who were under that man's spell. “No” zeus disagreed 

“Yes” 

“No”

“Yes father we are the only ones who have dealt with that man for a long period of time none of you know what he's capable of we do. It's only logical for us to go.” Thalia snapped, making it clear to all that there was no talking any of them out of this. “Fine but if you do not return in a week we are all coming after you.” after those words left zues’s mouth the whole council agreed with him. “Fine .” they all said as they turned on their heels and left the room. 

The first issue they had was a maze that was filled to the brim of dangerous traps. Vines that would latch onto a person and use the thorns to kill them. Creatures that were just out for the kill. Then they had to deal with five hydras at once. Finally a room that changed looks everytime they looked at one another. Eventually they made it only to find the man who they still had mixed feelings about. Yet when they laid eyes upon him anger filled their bodies he had destroyed who they were and yet here he was alive and well. His chuckle brought back so many horrible memories that none of them wanted to relive but just having him there forced them to do so. It seemed that this was his plan all along to get them to find him and once again join him. But what he did not count on was that a few months ago they had been experimenting with their new abilities. The abilities they gained as an after effect of the things that happened to them. They learned that Luke can slow down time so as the man shot the spell at them, Bianca and Nico created a thick dark fog that made it impossible to see through it. Luke slowed down time long enough to give Selina a chance to turn the water that Percy used to surround them, reflective the spell rebounded and hit him instead.  The rest of them simply took out the rest of the guards with ease after that as they were merely illusions it seemed that the man considered himself the evil mad hatter of the mythic world creating anything he imagined including the allies he seemed to have. 

They returned home after a successful mission the man was thrown into tartarus and the group kneeled in front of their parents. “Children we know that it is going to take longer for all of you to truly heal from what happened three years ago and we all know that you don't entirely trust us but we would like to offer you immortality and give you the role as the immortal guard. As this guard you will help the demigod, immortals as you have all proven to be great heroes. There may be a time where you will wish to no longer be the guard to which you may choose the next generation if you wish. You will forever remain immortal unless you choose otherwise. What do you say?2 said zeus. They all looked to one another, they wanted to help others and yes they don't fully trust the olympians but if these last few years have taught them anything the olympians are trying to be better no matter what. “We accept.” They all said together happily that they won't be separated again.
