Walking up to the throne room Hera desperately attempted to look unbothered and confident as she usually was,she hated the idea of anyone seeing her frazzled. It could make them believe that she had lost control and therefore was unable to do her duties as Queen of Olympus, goddess of marriage and childbirth. Many often thought that she believed herself better than everyone else but that wasn't what she believed at all. It wasn't that at all it was the idea that she had lost control. That was one of her biggest fears. It brought her back to the first titanomachy, but she would never admit that especially to her family.
Finally, the royal couple arrived at the throne room, Hera immediately removed her hand from her husband's grasp. By this point the king was used to actions like this wasn't odd so he wasn't surprised at all however he was a little disappointed. The enormous golden doors swung by open allowing them to walk in under the gazes of the other Olympians. Normally, there would be endless pettey arguments that would make anyone become angry. But there was only silence. Poseidon lent back in his throne his hair was in a right state it looked as though he'd been dragged across the floor, the Enormous bags under his eyes made him look centuries older than he actually was, like all of his life had been sucked out of him by some parasite. Hades didn't look any better, he was parallel than normal, his clothes had the appearance of being from the bin when he normally took great pride in how he dressed. Everyone was exhausted, however those two looked the worst. Zeus shared an understanding look with his brothers. Even though those three are like cats and dogs fighting over food, if anyone wants to harm them they would most definitely go through Tartarus for one another although they wouldn't show it or even admit it. taking their seats Zeus began the meeting with his usual speech but with far less enthusiasm as he did normally. It was clear to everyone that even though he was in a similar mental state as his brothers, the disappearance of their children had taken a toll on them as it had on the rest of the world( but definitely more so then than anyone else). the meeting went how it normally would but with one clear difference, there was no argument that would have resulted in war. It was common knowledge that during Council meetings the Olympians would often find themselves in heated arguments. some of which got so out of hand that the possibility of full-out war was likely a clear example of this was the whole lightning bolt situation. so the fact that there wasn't any was an anomaly indeed. Rising from his seat Zeus took the time to address the council once more " does anyone have anything they wish to discuss?" silence. He knew what they wanted to talk about but she didn't want to push the subject as he felt the same way as they did. The torturing silence hung in the air for a few moments more before it was amphitrite who finally spoke. "Shouldn't we discuss the three demigods that are still missing?" her voice was as it normally was calm and calculative but it had an underlying tone of worry and sadness that everyone could detect, even her husband picked it up which wasn't a thing that normally happened. He gave her a concerned look before Zeus asked if anyone had anything new but no one did.
" where could they possibly have gone?" Persephone asked, gripping her husband's hand tightly as he rubbed his thumb over the back of her knuckles. " It's not like they were following a map or Legend like they had before they were just going to a set location." That indeed was true these three demigods had gone on such far-fetched missions previously that it would make sense for them to disappear then because no one knew where they possibly could have gone yet for some reason no one could find them even though they knew exactly where they were going. nods and agreements emulated around the room as they all were thinking of the same thing even Aries, Dionysus and Athena who weren't too fond of those particular demigods but yet all of them showed some sort of concern. " could they just be laying low for a while?" Apollo asked, being his usual hopeful self even though he too knew it was pretty unlikely. " what for four months!" Athena snapped as though her response was expected. "What if someone has caught them as revenge for Gaia and grandfathers"
More ideas were being thrown around the room and none were getting them any closer. The wives of the big three looked as though they were going to be sick at the very idea that someone had taken their children as revenge. However they still couldn't understand why their wives were so openly worried about it, it's just a little odd to them. The brothers looked at there wives and couldn't help but notice how similar to their lovers they looked. The resemblance was scary. "What if they are..."
"Enough!" Poseidon yelled hitting the ground with his trident clearly having had enough of all the speculations of his son's fate. Everyone became silent and zeus took that as his que to dismiss everyone.
