Lost Legends

Chapter 12

A few days passed till the attack finally took place. Athena and her children all managed to figure out how to break the spell that was on the children; it was only undone if the person remembered who they truly were. The fight was brutal. Everyone fought their best the monsters plus teh demigods under this man's control made it nearly impossible to win this fight. Enormous buildings crumbled like cards, the sound of screams Echoing throughout the entirety of Olympus. they were so loud that it seemed that the mortals themselves would be able to hear the commotion even with the mist. demigods of all ages absolutely refused to sit this one out even if their parents tried to order them they didn't listen whatsoever they simply used the same tactics as their parents used upon them. They were not going to allow their whole homes to be destroyed nor they go into allowing their parents' home to be destroyed for they knew their parents were trying their best even though they had no idea how to truly help the demigods they were trying and for that they were thankful. Each parent or set of parents finally managed to isolate their children from the fight and fight for them to remember who they were with words of things from their past. It was hard especially for Bianca, Nico,Percy and Thalia. Apollo and Hermes teamed up to grab their sons, Michael and Luke. The two boys thrashed against their fathers and Luke nearly ended up taking Hermes' head clear off of his shoulders. Thankfully the other demigods of these two fathers managed to help them. That was fairly the same for all of the others except the big three kids seeing their siblings begging them pleading with them to try and remember who they were and force them to fight for control. The big three and their wives did everything they possibly could break their children from the spell. At first everyone thought that it would be impossible to get those children back but when the site of tears passed behind their eyes it was clear to everyone that they were coming back and that they weren't going to be stuck in this control much longer. Finally they were able to snap out of it and to their parents and siblings to drive the monsters that threatened their lives away. they had finally won this battle and all of these children had been reunited with their families. All of them wrap their arms around one another not wanting to let go. It was then that the king of the gods himself decreed that the immortals shall now have free will to visit their children as they please. It was a glorious Victory.But for Athena it was too easy, way too easy for such a meticulous plan to be destroyed so easily. No, there was definitely more coming.
