Chapter 9: On The Boat

Clay Pov:

I was minding my own business trying my best to Meditate and control my emotions so I don't Accidentally do something that I might regret when I saw that group again. Apparently from what I overhead from the others on this ship there ninjas from ninjago.

I really didn't care because I had my own goals but I couldn't help but think there here for the same reason. Did one of there friends also get kidnap so they can come here or is there another reason.

I just pull out a picture where Jestro and I were little and playing together. Those were the days that we were truly happen together.  I wish that things just stay like that. Before Monstrux and before everything else. Maybe then I could of told him how I felt.

I let out a sigh then I notice trouble. I saw this guy with metal hands Harassing the girl that got on this boat first. I decided to walk up to them and stop this fight before things get out of hand.

Skylor: Its ok I can handle myself

Karlof: Who dare interrupt Karlof business.

Clay: Karlof huh? Well Karlof can you please stop harassing this young lady. The Tournament haven't even started yet and it seem that you are just trying to start a fight.

Karlof: This is none of your Business

Clay: It becomes my business when you put your metal hands on a girl who just want to be left alone.

Karlof: This metal hand will crush ninja and filthy knight.

Clay: *sigh* I guess I have no choice.

Before Karlof could so anything I put my hand in front of him and use a spell. His eyes became yellow and he stop moving.

Clay: You will leave us alone and train somewhere else without hugging anyone

Karlof: Karlof will leave girl alone and go train

With that the dude left. I turn to the girl apologize to her before giving her a hand shake. The only issue is when she touch my hand, she got shock and move her hand away which made me worry.

Clay Mind: Did I accidentally shock her?

I left after that but I then ran into the ninja group which was fine because I had some questions.

Clay: I have a question for you guys

Kai: Ok what is it?

Clay: Why are you here? I mean I over heard the blue one saying that the only reason why he here because of a friend. Did your friend get kidnap too?

Lloyd: Wait your in this tournament because of someone too?

Clay: Yes. My friend is name Jestro-

Jay: Jestro *laugh* that suck a stupid name. I mean who names there child that. What is he? A jester?

Cole then hit Jay on the head making him say ow and rub his head.

Cole: Jay that not nice.

Clay: He use to be a royal jester before an evil book turn him evil.

They all gave me a look before I let out a sigh. I guess I need to explain the whole story to them.

Clay: My friend was trick by a book that had an evil spirit known as Monstrox. He tried to take over his body but then change his mind and tried to take over mine. We were able to defeated him but of course he came back twice. The first time was when Monsteox brainwash him and they almost destroyed the kingdom. We were able to stop him but of course he came back again. The second time he came back as a Virus and was taking control of the whole kingdom. If it wasn't for me, the whole kingdom would be zombies under the control of Monsteox. Of course after this Jestro was thrown into the dungeons until he was kidnapped a few days ago.

Kai: Don't take this the wrong way but this Jestro guy kind of sound likes a bad guy.

When Kai said that I just grab him by the shirt. My hand started to glow yellow and my eye also started to glow yellow as well.

Clay: He is not a bad guy, he not a villain he was just being taken advantage and being control by that evil spirit.

After that I let the red ninja go and let out a sigh before turn to them.

Clay: Sorry it just back at my kingdom no one respects him or treats him human anymore. It just pissed me off is all. What about you?

Lloyd: Its fine we kind of get it. Anyways the reason why we are here is because of are friend Zane. He a Nindroid and the master of Ice. He ended up sacrificed himself to save ninjago from a great evil called the Overlord.

Cole: We were told that he was alive and if we want to see him again, we have to enter this tournament.

Clay: I see and I'm sorry that you had to go through that pain. I bet he was a strong warrior for ninjago.

Jay: In a way he was.

*Bells Ring*

Clouse: We are here. Welcome to Chen Island.
