Chapter 19: Challenge Three: Thunder Blades

Clay Pov:

The next challenge is coming up and apparently its going to be Lloyd vs the master of forms. Now I don't know what type of challenge this is going to be because it seem that Chen and other people have been trying to go after Lloyd so he might do some sabotaging. It also doesn't help that after Cole was taken from the team, he been talking to that skylor girl.

I know Kai loves Cole, I can see it in his eyes but the issue is this girl have been trying to get Kai go against Lloyd and I think its working. I don't know if Kai is faking it or not though because even though what he been doing doesn't seem good, his eyes seem to be telling you another story.

*Time Skip*

We were in the next event and we are wearing roller blades. I don't know what type of event this is, but I don't like it.

Chen: Welcome to my favorite event thunderblade.

Griffin: Hey I know this game. Its just like-

Chen: No, its not like that. This is my game. I made it up. Fully original. A Jade blade for you Lloyd the master of power.

Chen then threw the blade at Lloyd and a helmet.

Chen: And another for Chamille the master of Form. Where? Where are you? Oh there you are. The rules are simple. Each lap you complete with your blade in possession, a point. Most point before time expires you win.

Griffin: Woah Woah What about us? Are we supposed to just stand here?

Chen: You get to help anyone you wish or hurt for that matter. Your free to choose sides I'm not a dictator.

Everyone then started choosing the side of Chamille the master of Form which started to make me worry as it seem that only Jay and I are going to be on Lloyd team. I'm still not sure about Kai yet though.

Lloyd: What was that you said about us having targets on are backs?

Clay: Its going to be ok Lloyd. I'm sure things will work out in the end.

Kai: Don't worry we are still a team.

Then Kai fell because he not use to roller blades.

Jay: I gotta be honest, this doesn't look good.

After we all got to the starting line and all ready up to go, we are all just waiting for Chen to start the challenge.

Chen: Lloyd master of power Vs Chamille the master of Form. Most laps with there Jade blade when time runs out wins. Loser is out. Thunderbladers on your mark, get set, good luck everyone but mostly Chamille because we all want the green ninja out. Now Go *Horn*

Lloyd and Chamille were the first two to go and when the horn went again, everyone else went as well.

Jay: Its us against the world guys. If Lloyd has any chance of moving forward in the tournament. It's up to us.

Clay: Got it. You got that Kai?

I turn to see that Skylor him talking to Kai again but I really didn't want to listen because Lloyd is are main goal right now. We need Lloyd to win and by what Chen said, anything goes.

I started using my powers to get some people off of Lloyd back which seem to be working. I even gave Lloyd speed of a cheetah as it made him faster. Jay was also trying his best to get people away from Lloyd but they just seem to be pushing Jay back. Then all of a sudden a Vehicle appeared and some of those Goons were on it.

Clay: Hey isn't this cheating?

Jay: It doesn't seem to bug Chen.

Chen: *Laugh*

I use my powers to keep that Vehicle away from Lloyd but for some reason I felt tired and weak. I look at the left of me and saw Clouse doing some spell.

Clay Mind: Is he trying to put me asleep.

I blasted at his direction acting like I missing and it was so happens heading to him. He stop doing his spell and got out of the way. Then I just felt normal again.

Clay Mind: So we are playing that way huh? I don't know if I will be able to do much because that might be called cheating from Chen eyes. I won't be able to stop Clouse from doing those spells but I can make it harder for him.

I was able to join Jay and Kai as they started talking about the problem that we are having.

Jay: Lloyd is closing the gap but the clock is against us.

Clay: So is everyone else.

Kai: Garmadon right. The more we exclude everyone, the more they gain up on us.

Jay: What are you saying?

Kai: I'm saying why don't we tell them about Chen? If others knew what this tournament is really about, they might help us.

Clay: Its worth a shot

Jay: Huh it's worth a try but time is running out and Lloyd got a lot of ground to make up.

Clay: You guys go tell people I have to stay by Lloyd side

Kai: Why?

Clay: Clouse have been trying to put spell up to stop Lloyd from winning but I have been stopping him from doing those spells and now not only after Lloyd but myself as well. As long as I am near Lloyd, I can stop Clouse from using those spells.

Jay: You got it

That how it happen, I was able to catch up to Lloyd as I saw he been falling behind.

Clay: I got you

Lloyd: Clay what are you-

Clay: Clouse is trying to use his sorcery on you but I have been stopping him. As long as I am next to your side, then he won't be able to use those spells on you without me noticing.

Lloyd: What about the others?

Clay: We got a plan for that too just trust us.

Lloyd: I trust you.

The event went on. As the others try there best to tell more people about Chen plan, I kept an eye on Lloyd and stop any spells that Clouse is trying to do but after a while, I didn't see clouse which made me think he gave up. More people have started to help Lloyd but Chen didn't seem so happy about that.

It got to the point that the master of Forms trip everyone and let out a huge hiss like a cat before moving on. The spell I had on Lloyd sadly faded because I couldn't keep concentration. Then when Lloyd got up and started skating again, Kai just appear with the buggy.

Kai: You need a lift?

Clay: Did you just-

Lloyd: You took the buggy.

Kai: We took the buggy. Take the wheel.

Lloyd took the wheel and the buggy change and form into something else. I guess that is a part of his power. Chen tried to stop Lloyd but it didn't work and in the end Lloyd won.

Chen tried to make it to where Lloyd lost but everyone put there foot down and Chen had no choice but to declare Lloyd as the winner.
