Chapter 6: The Letter

No One Pov:

When Clay went to his room, he saw a letter on his bed. He thought it was some sort of joke but decided to read the letter just in case it was important.

Dear Clay Moorington

Master Chen has personally invited you to participate in his tournament of elements.

Secrecy is of the utmost importance. Tell no one or suffer the consequences.

If you ever want to see your friend again meet us on the pier at ninjago city at midnight tonight and leave your weapons behind.

When Clay read the letter he understood what it was saying but as soon as he was done reading it, it disappeared leaving no evidence.

Clay Pov:

From what the letter said I can't tell anyone where I am going which it fine by me. I don't want them looking for me because they might get in the way.

I started looking through some of Merlok old spell books. I know magic really well and have even Practice using it without using my sword but that doesn't mean I am a master of it. That is when I saw it, the spell I was looking for. The spell is called gate. It will open a portal to any place that you have been.

The only issue is that I haven't been to that place yet. Lucky as long as I see a picture of ninjago, then I can portal in.

I went to the computers to look up the place when Ava and Robin walk in.

Ava: Clay what are you doing?

Clay: I need to look up some information on some place that all.

Robin: Do you need help?

Clay: No but thank you for asking.

After getting a picture of what ninjago looks like, I am ready to leave for tonight.

*Time Skip*

I was leaving a lot of my things behind before walking to the kitchen to get something to eat. That is when I heard the others started talking.

Lance: Why do we need to find this Jester again? I mean isn't it good that he gone now?

Aaron: Yeah he cause nothing but problems for us and for this kingdom.

Axl: He also destroyed good food which I cannot aloud.

Macy: I know Jestro had cause problems for all of us but he still clay friend.

Merlok: Macy is right. If we don't find Jestro in time, clay might leave the team to go find him.

Aaron: What? But he would never leave.

Ava: I wouldn't be so sure about that. Robin and I saw him looking up some places which is far from here. We think that if he can't find him in are kingdom, he might leave to go to another one.

Macy: Which we can't aloud.

Clay Mind: So there having a meeting about me huh? Good to know to know.

I left to head to my room. I should properly leave a note so I don't worry them but I wouldn't be able to say much as I don't want them to find me. I was lucky to look up a few places near ninjago as well path to ninjago from here to make it seem that I would leave to go to another kingdom. I grab a peace of paper and pen before writing my own note.
