Chapter Thirty-Three

Yoongi rolled his eyes as he tried to find a vacant seat so he could eat peacefully but he doubted that- that would ever happen.

The rumors everyone has been talking about were finally confirmed his pregnancy.

He can't hide his bump anymore and it is very noticeable not to mention he always has his hands on his back because of how heavy it feels causing a severe backache at the end of the day.

Of course, none of the people in this school will ever fully accept his sudden pregnancy, it's not like he needs their approval though.

It's just so irritating to have everyone's eyes on you not because of your pregnancy but because they all think that he's a slut who doesn't even have the right to carry Jeon Jungkook's baby.

"He's a great pretender. He looks quiet but is a real slut on the inside." one of the students whispers.

"He probably seduced Jungkook." another said.

"I just hope his baby won't look like him." one said.

"Duh! I don't even think that Jungkook is the real father," Yoongi heard one say.

Yoongi bit the insides of his cheeks walking towards the vacant seat on the far corner as he gripped the tray tighter before he even snapped at the girls talking about him.

He licked his lower lips shrugging his shoulders. The thing that he likes about his pregnancy is that- it gave him a strong mentality like this, he can eat like there are no people who are looking at him in a very insulting way as long as he gets to have his food.

He shoved three grapes in his mouth happily humming enjoying how sweet the fruit is and how juicy it is.

He stopped and swallowed down the food when he saw Jungkook walking with both hands in his pocket scanning the cafeteria.

He looked down not wanting to be seen by Jungkook or he wanted to believe that Jungkook wouldn't see him- so it wouldn't hurt that much if Jungkook avoided him.

When he looked up, he cursed under his breath when their eyes met. The older protruded his lips smirking when the younger immediately flushed a deep shade of red which looked adorable.

"There's hamburgers on the menu. Do you want me to get one for you?" Jungkook said.

Jungkook sat across the younger. Yoongi just shook his head at the offer. He's an even a big eater now that he is pregnant but he wants to consume healthy food as much as possible for the baby.

Yoongi stared at Jungkook who remained quiet after he declined his offer. The younger bit the insides of his cheeks and looked down on his food knowing that Jungkook was still probably awkward about what they talked about the last time, the thing about Mark.

"I'm in my fifth month..." Yoongi told him.

The younger blurted out, he just wanted to break the silence and thought about how it would be good if it was about the baby even if Jungkook was not interested in it.

The older looks offended as he looks the younger straight in the eye, "I know, Yoongi. I'm the one who got you pregnant in case you forgot." He said with a little bit of sass in his tone.

Yoongi scoffed rolling his eyes because of Jungkook's sarcasm. He clears his throat remembering what he wants to say.

"I have an appointment for an ultrasound and uh. you know that's when we'll find out the gender of the baby," He gulps down nervously, "I'm actually too late for that but it's fine, and yeah," He shrugs his shoulder.

He decides against it. What if Jungkook doesn't want to come? Never mind. He can just reschedule the ultrasound so that he can go with his mother.

He was supposed to have his ultrasound two months ago but he always ends up rescheduling it because he's scared and he wants someone to be with him but he can see how busy his mother and brother are.

If he ask his mother, she would even file a leave just she could go with him and he doesn't want to bother her that much. If he asks his brother, he's also busy and there is a high possibility that his brother will just scold him or Jungkook asking why the father of the baby can't go with him.

"When is your appointment scheduled?" he asked.

"Thursday...." the younger said.

Yoongi bit his lower lips as he looked at Jungkook wearily who didn't know what to expect.

"I would like to go with you if that's okay?" Jungkook asked scratching the back of his head.

The younger's eyes widened in shock, he never expected the older to volunteer to go with him to his ultrasound appointment.

He let out a wide gummy smile slowly nodding his head suddenly excited about the said appointment. The feeling of his heart fluttering for once without any reason to get sad feels so good.

The younger bit the insides of his cheeks looking down at the bowl of fruit in front of him trying to compose himself.

"Yoongi..." Jungkook said.

He looks up only to be met by Jungkook's eyes that seem like what? longing? No, not that.

"I miss you. I do." Jungkook said in a very sincere tone.

They haven't seen each other for a while mainly because of Yoongi's fear of getting found out by his brother that he's talking to Jungkook even though Namjoon seems like he's fine with it now, the younger just wants to make sure.

Jungkook laughed a little realizing what he just said but he didn't have the intention to take it back. It's now or never.

"There must be a lot of things going on with you. It's probably hard since you are carrying the baby and I am not there," Jungkook shut his eyes closed, "Sorry, Yoongi. I'm sorry for giving you a lot of trouble." He said, regret in his voice.

Yoongi tilted his head to the right taking in a deep breath feeling his heart swell because of Jungkook.

"You've caused trouble, yes," Yoongi chuckled, "But you gave me a blessing. It was too early, but still thanks for the angel inside me." He said with a warm smile gracing his face.
