Chapter Forty-Five

Jungkook chuckled as he looked at the younger who was munching the food. He's overwhelmed that Yoongi made an effort to prepare breakfast for him. However, he told the younger to just sleep in not wanting him to overwork himself.

"I can make you breakfast every morning, Kookie."

"We can't have bacon and eggs every morning, Yoongi."

The younger glared at the older scrunching up his nose before rolling his eyes at Jungkook's remarks. That's true though, maybe he should start watching tutorials on YouTube.

"Let's go baby shopping later," Jungkook said while smiling so wide.

Everyone will think that he's so whipped for the younger boy. He's not even glancing at his food and as if the whole world is not moving as he's only focused on Yoongi who's not even sparing him a glance because he's too busy eating.

"Did you hear me, big baby?" Jungkook asked and the younger immediately looked up, "I said let's go shopping for the baby later." He chuckled.

Yoongi's face lit up and the older saw that he looked even more beautiful with his eyes sparkling in so much excitement. He can't help but let out a small laugh when the younger dramatically clasped his hands together.

"I have more than enough to buy what we need," Jungkook shrugged his shoulders, "I also realized that I saved a lot in my account." He said.

Jungkook hissed even biting his lower lips when he saw the gummy smile of the younger that he loved so much, he would do anything just to keep it that way- him always smiling and happy.

"I also saved up in my account." Yoongi excitedly said.

Jungkook immediately shook his head which made the younger's lips tug downwards. He doesn't want to let the older shoulder all the baby clothes and stuff know that it would be quite pricey.

But of course, Jungkook doesn't mind, he's more than willing to spend even his hard-earned money if it's for his family. Damn! They're the only reason why he's working so hard.

Also, he had more than enough to spend on all the baby stuff. He almost forgot about how he saved up all of his allowance in one of his accounts and he also got a lot by saving up his salary. Not to mention, the continuous money that his mother keeps on sending.

They don't have to worry that much now.

"Just save that up for now, hm? We'll use that if we need it, Yoongi. No need to feel bad." He said in a soothing voice.

They finished up their breakfast with Jungkook washing the dishes while Yoongi was taking a bath. The younger came down after almost half an hour, he's already dressed and very excited to go.

He told Jungkook to go upstairs and take a bath too so they could finally go. He's already mentally listing down what they need to get for the baby.

The younger jumped out of his seat when the older came down with his hair a slight mess, Yoongi shook his head still satisfied since the older still looked good even in such a state.

They arrived at the mall with Yoongi jumping a little out of excitement and Jungkook needed to calm him down and stop him from almost running around afraid that the younger might fall because of how active he is.

The both of them went inside the store full of baby stuff and Yoongi felt like he was in heaven. He's already walking around with Jungkook following behind pushing a pretty big empty cart.

"Jungkook, look. This looks so cute!" Yoongi giggled.

The older smiled when he looked at the shirt that Yoongi was pointing at, it was a pink and red stripe with a statement that said Dada's Angel.

The younger was about to look at the price tag first but was stopped when Jungkook just put it in the cart with another four different colors. Yoongi just rolled his eyes, his lips already forming into a small pout.

"Should we buy a crib too?" Yoongi asked.

"No. Mom went to France last week, she said there's a crib on the way for our baby." He shrugged his shoulders, "Custom-made just for our angel." He winked.

Yoongi slowly nods his head with a small smile gracing his lips as he places one of his hands on top of his bump, a habit that he developed.

They got a lot of stuff for the baby and Jungkook is still not satisfied with what they got for their little one to the point that Yoongi still has to push him toward the cashier to pay for all the things that they got.

They drove away from the mall and stopped in front of the cafe to eat since Yoongi was craving for something sweet and Jungkook was just simply tired of the younger citing and even spelling his favorite cakes.

The both of them looked around at the cafe to find a seat and the younger one immediately looked down when he saw a group of friends that he was familiar with, they were from the same school as them.

"Wow! Are they dating?"

"No! Do you think Jungkook will like someone like him?"

"You bet. Jungkook is not even the father of the kid."

"Duh! They're together just for the child."

Yoongi heard all of that so he just lowered his head even more while the older man was too busy looking for a seat to even hear what they were saying.

He took in a deep breath before taking a few steps away from Jungkook. Obviously, to stop embarrassing the older one for being with him. They're right, why is Jungkook even staying with him? He let out a small laugh, for the baby.

"Let's sit there." Jungkook excitedly said when he finally saw a table being cleaned.

He looked at the younger raising his brows when he saw how far Yoongi was from him. He looked around and realized why the younger was suddenly being distant.

He reached out for Yoongi's hands and the younger badly wanted to pull away but he just held it even tighter intertwining both of their fingers together.

Jungkook purposely walked in the direction of their schoolmate as he brought Yoongi's hands up kissing the back of it a couple of times before letting out a proud smile.
