Hey guys. Sorry i haven't posted in awhile, i'm going through a lot right now and it's hard for me to focus on writing. Hope you enjoy.

-

The next day, my Mother notified my saying that Jane and Harry were having an engagement party, and Jane really, really wanted me to come.

Luck is obviously not on my side.

I dressed in a red, floral dress and slipped on some white Louis Vuitton heels that matches the flours in the dress pattern.

I spent a good hour on my hair and makeup. If I really wanted to stick to my plan of getting Harry back now that Liam was out of the picture, I at least had to look nice.

My mom called me down after I applied a layer of natural lipstick. I walked down the stair with freshly shaven legs, looking nice, and a determined attitude.

Mother's eyes widen. "You look nice." She laughed and closed the door behind me as we walked out. "Who are you trying to impress?"

I chuckled on the inside. "No one, Olivia. I look good for myself." I lied. I could wear sweatpants and a t-shirt with cookie crumbs on it and still think I could strut down a runway.

My mother shook her head while smiling, and began to drive off the The Blake's mansion.

-

I rolled my eyes as a random man working at the party handed my a glass of champagne. Of course they would have people doing this.

I down the beverage in under 30 seconds, and set my glass down on a table next to me. I was trash compared to everyone here.

"MONICA!" Jane's squeal was heard from across the room. I looked to my left to see balcony doors - but Jane's death grip was on my arm before I could make a run for it.

"Come up to the tea room with me an my friends so we can gossip together!" She said excitedly.

My exterior smiled, but my interior was setting itself on fire.

Jane drag me to her tea room, where 4 other girls were sitting around a white table sipping tea.

"Emma, Trisha, Nicole, Chel!" Jane called them to get their attention. They all turned to me, their faced dropping as they seemed to judge me head-to-toe.

"This is my step-sister, Monica." Jane introduced me. I closed my eyes so no one could see me roll them, but I bit my tongue to not correct her term.

"Hello." I waved, trying to break the ice.

"Are you that..." A brunette started, still staring at me with a harsh glare.

"That girl in-" Another blonde started.

"Ohmygod, Trisha, I WAS JUST THINKING THAT." The other blonde gradually got louder as her sentence continued.

I looked at them with a confused look until the brunette spoke again.

"In London fashion week." She finished.

"Oh, uh, yeah." I stuttered nervously, laughing lightly.

"Anyway, I'm Chel." The brunette seemed to be friendly, so while Jane continued to speak with Blondie #2, Blondie #3, and the other girl with dark hair, I talked to Chel.

"So is modeling, like fun? Do you make a lot of money?" She asked straight forward.

I frowned slightly at her question. "Uh, I-"

"Could you maybe, like call your manager and get me into the modeling business? My mum says I got a face like Kate Moss." She interrupted me. When I said she was nice, I spoke too soon.
