I sat in JFK for what felt like hours, Liam was on the phone next to me the whole time. After I agreed to be apart of London Fashion week, I got on a plane the next day and Liam decided that he would tag along so he could visit his family in Wolverhampton.

"Make sure he's getting the proper care he needs, Evan. He nearly died in my surgery and if he is dead when I return, you will want to start running." Liam threatened over the phone, I listened since I had nothing else to do.

We were isolated in a small room is a large window, since the paparazzi were hungry for us like starving dogs.

I sighed, my phone rang and I quickly picked it up.

"Hello?" I yawned.

"Hi Monica, It's dad."

I smiled "Hi dad."

He shuffled around. "Are you planning to see mom while you're visiting?" He asked.

I swallowed, shaking my head. "I'm only going for work, I'll maybe go to Wolverhampton with Liam to visit his family."

He sighed. "I never thought I'd being saying this...But you really should see your mother. She raised you when I couldn't."

I rolled my eyes. "You mean she gave me a house and a personal chef while she drank her life away?" I crossed my arms. I will never, ever forget the way she treated me.

He sighed again, this time without any anger. "Well, I can say that I tried." He paused. "I'll see you when you get back, sweetheart. Love you."

"Love you too." I hung up

Liam hung up not too long after I did, then we boarded the plane, bringing me back to my worst nightmares.

~♥~♥~

I was shaken awake by Liam, the plane ride went by in a breeze because I slept the whole way.

We collected our bags after exiting the plane, I looked for a sign with my name on it. Liam led me to it, my tired face smiled as I saw Emilee.

"Darling!" She hugged me tightly and Liam laughed as I struggled. "I'll bring you to your hotel."

I nodded and turned to Liam. I brought my lips to his, letting it be long since we probably won't see each other for a week. It's always like this when he goes away for business.

"Love you." He kisses my forehead, I repeat his words and then we part ways.

The airport was crowed with the paparazzi, Emilee swore under her breath every time a flash went off in her face.

I looked up, trying to make my way through the maze of people.

I was left blind by the flashes, it made it ten times harder to make my way through than it already was.

I suddenly turned 180 degrees when I felt a tug on my hair.

Then my breath hitched.

I blinked at least 30 times.

This cannot be happening.

Before I could get any words out of my mouth, a hand reached up.

A slap across the face.

I deserved it.

A chorus of 'oooo's filled the space around me like we were watching a middle school fight, my face heated in embarrassment. Emilee tugged on my arm after witnessing the commotion.
