Chapter 25

At 11:50 pm

(Kookie hasn't slept yet.Taehyung had forbidden him to wait till late night but still he is waiting and wants to eat dinner with him. He is studying to awaken himself.)

(Half an hour passed but still there was no sign of Taehyung arrival.He was feeling sleepy, his eyes were closing again and again and he was trying hard to keep open them. From time to time he was looking at the door.)

( Scary and an intrusive thoughts were swirling around his mind, despite understanding himself so much, he was feeling scared and distressed, thinking about all this he lost his sleep.He was just praying that Taehyung is safe, he just wanted to see him in front of his eyes at this moment. )

( He turned his gaze towards the door when he heard the sound of the door opening, his face lit up as soon as he saw Taehyung in front of him, finally breathed a sigh of relief as he saw him safe and sound with his own eyes.He immediately stood up from the chair. )

Taehyung: Why are you still awake?Were you still studying?

Kookie (nodded his head) : Hmm.

( He felt like Taehyung's expression was a little different, his voice was dry and tired.He convinced himself that he must be tired due to overwork. )

Taehyung:Had dinner?(said while taking off his coat)

Kookie(shook his head):No!

Taehyung: Didn't I tell you to eat dinner on time?(said in a slightly louder, stern tone)

(Kookie slightly flinched after hearing Taehyung's stern voice,as this was the first time he saw anger on his face and heard his loud,harsh tone.Without giving a glance at him, Taehyung went inside the washroom, closed the door, stood in front of a big mirror, looked at himself for a while, closed his eyes, took a deep breath and exhaled, rubbed his temple with his fingers and splashed water on his face. )

(Kookie tried not to cry but tears came out of his eyes forcefully.)

Kookie (wiping the tears with the back of his palm) : Stop being so over sensitive, stop tearing up. (said in a low whisper voice)

( He was angry at himself for crying such a small thing, you didn't listen to him, stayed up till late at night, didn't have dinner yet, that's why he got angry and you got scolded, he was trying to convince himself to stop his tears but it was of no use, tears were continuously spilling out. )

( Somehow he stopped his tears, after some time he heard the sound of the opening door,as soon as his eyes met with Taehyung,he lowered his eyelids so that he couldn't see his red,tear-filled eyes,he didn't want to show that he tried for such a small thing.)

( Even with his eyes down,he could see that Taehyung was coming towards him while folding the sleeves of his shirt, his heart skipped a beat when Taehyung suddenly picked him up in bridal style and started walking outside the room.)

(While coming downstairs, he was silently observing the neutral face which was in front of his eyes, he didn't know why but today he was feeling like there was something different in that face.Taehyung put him down near the dining table and went inside the kitchen.)
