It had only been a few sunrises when you realized that Guizhong not only ignored you, but also spying on you to see if you would sneak off to Yu Shuang. The only good thing was that Guizhong hadn't told Zhongli or anyone else about the incident.
You sighed, fidgeting with the small jade ornament hanging from your sword. You had just finished sharpening and polishing the jade, making it shine under the moon's ray of light. The blade shined when the light reflected off of it, allowing the slight astigmatism to create a long and thin glare.
A soft snore from the direction of your bed made your head turn. Biyoo, resting on your fluffy blankets, murmured in her sleep. The not-so baby dokkaebi had grown to be a little bit bigger than a baseball ball. A nostalgic smile grew on your face when you thought about the once palm-sized dokkaebi. Biyoo is and will always be adorable in your eyes, the precious child will be forever seen as a baby.
If you had a choice to time travel, you probably would've traveled to before Guizhong walked into your home when Yu Shuang was there. You missed the God of Dust's company, being able to run over to talk about your day with her, being able to practice the guqin with her and Ping.
You stopped playing with the ornament, deciding it would be best to catch up on some sleep before you meet up with the others. From what you heard from Bosacius and Bonanus, there was going to be a meeting between all the Guili adepti. Which will be happening in a few days. You were a bit scared to face Guizhong again..
What if she never forgives you? You couldn't bear the thought of her not wanting to be around you ever again. You love her after all.
Maybe making something will do some good. Like Remedium Tertiorum? If you were to make the remedy more potent, allowing those affected by Karma be cured, perhaps that will give you a chance to be on Guizhong's good side again.
Remedium Tertiorum is made using an adeptus' alchemy. Although it temporary helps alleviate the pain caused by Karma, it doesn't prevent Karmic Debt from stopping. You knew in the future the remedy will be used more when the Archon War starts, or rather, when the war between Liyue and the abyssal creatures worsen. More mortals will be brought into the war and will become affected by karmic debt as well.
