Shubman's thoughts revolved around the radio session in the morning. Was it his Mits or someone else? He would be lying if he said he didn't miss her. He broke the promise of picking her up from the airport. He couldn't speak with her because his number changed. He couldn't text her because her Instagram ID went missing. He also got a girlfriend. Who soon broke up with him. Just because he was seen scrolling through photos of himself and Mithra.
Shubman loved his best friend. She was one of the best things that had happened to him. Sighing he got back to practice but his friend, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, noticed it. "Kya hua re?" he asked. "Kuch nahi, just missing someone," Shubman muttered while he tried to tie his shoelace. Ever since Mithra left, he has been struggling to tie his shoelace. "You're missing your ex?" Nagar asked as he shook his head.
"Nahi yaar. Uske baare me mat baath kar. This is someone else. Someone," he trailed off. "Who is this someone?" His friend asked sitting beside him. "Someone who used to tie my shoelace, which led to me never learning how to," Shubman answered soon a tear rolling down his cheek. "Oh Shubman," Nagar muttered hugging him. "Come on, I wanna know the details. Let's go to my room," he spoke before getting up when he saw Shubman struggling with the shoelace making Nagar sigh.
Shubman noticed it and muttered something under his breath before removing the shoes. "Come on," he muttered before walking with his fellow teammate. Kamlesh listened patiently, for nearly an hour, where Shubman explained everything. "Dammit man. Now how on earth are you gonna find my bhabhi?" he asked making Shubman tilt his head like a lost puppy. "Bhabhi? Kaun bhabhi?" he asked making him laugh.
"Mithra! Who else? Come on man, admit it. The way you spoke about her, shows how much you love her," he answered. "Um yeah. She's my best friend, Of course I love her," Shubman shrugged.
"Sure buddy. The way you talked means otherwise, but anyway, now to make you feel a little better, we'll go out," he answered. "Nah man, I don't wanna go," Shubman muttered. "Well do you wanna go through photos of you and Mithra?" he asked making Shubman smile. "That sounds better," Gill smiled.

Mithra was in the airport with her friend plus workmate Rahul. The 2 were the ones selected for the commentary stuff. "Theri Pikachu kaun hai?" Rahul asked leaning against the railing as Mithra looked at him. "Really? Now?" she asked making him roll his eyes. "Pleasee" he whined like a small kid. "Fine, he was this guy I basically grew up with," she answered making him scoff. "Yeah, no shit," Rahul answered huffing making her chuckle before ruffling his hair. "Chill I'll tell you," Mithra answered before explaining.
"Damn, bro bailed on you. He ghosted you at the airport!" Rahul whisper yelled as they 2 entered the airplane. "Um I didn't say that. He might have been busy Rahul," Mithra spoke siding for her best friend just for him to roll his eyes.
Shubman and Nagar sat in his room, scrolling through his camera roll, going through their photos. "This was on our 12th grade graduation, and this was, I think the day we both were watching a movie in the holidays, and this is when I last saw her," Shubman answered as Nagarkoti hummed. "I have one word to describe her," he started, and Shubman looked at him. "Hot," was the word he said. "Sure bro," Shubman laughed. "Bro I'm serious! Come on!" Kamlesh whined before hitting him with a pillow.
