Ten years later:

Selene's POV

I sat in front of the fireplace in the library. I read quietly as I researched about possible new medicinal applications of herbs as well as how to create concentrated compounds that can be used as medicine. I had already been studying the effects of poppy seeds and its potential as a painkiller. Trevor and Sypha had left with their two children to travel for a while and meet up with Sypha's family.

I heard footsteps and closed the book. I smiled as a child with light blond hair and violet eyes ran to me.

"Hello, my darling." I greeted him as he wrapped his arms around me.

"I missed you, mother!" He said as I returned his embrace.

"I missed you too, Viktor." I said as he let me go. I turned to my husband who watched us quietly. "Hello, my love."

I stood up and wrapped my arms around him, sighing in content when he wrapped his arms around me.

"I have missed you so much." I told him as he placed a tender kiss on my head.

"I missed you too, my moon." He replied.

"How was your travels?" I asked him and he smiled.

"It was well. Viktor was able to take down a dire wolf on his own." Adrian replied as he looked at his son proudly. "We saw Trevor and Sypha by chance. They will be staying here for winter."

"That's wonderful." I told him as I looked up at him. "How are your parents?"

"They sent their regards to you and my mother wanted to thank you for your gift. They both haven't aged a bit and are enjoying their lives to the fullest. They're coming over in a few weeks."

I smiled. I wasn't able to go with them because there was an outbreak of stomach flu in the village and I wanted to make sure the villagers were alright.

We have been married for ten years, and had a child but every time I look at him I still swoon at how incredibly handsome my husband is. He smiled down at me, returning my loving gaze.

"I believe it's time for Viktor to have a sibling." He whispered which made me laugh.

Viktor looked at us curiously. "I'm going to have a younger sibling?"

My husband smirked. "Soon, Viktor."

I laughed and pecked Adrian's soft lips. "You are incorrigible."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Centuries later:

My husband and I had decided to be in vampiric sleep once our children were all grown. Viktor and Lillian had gone off into the world to be their own people. Trevor and Sypha both had passed on in their old age. The Belmont family rose again and had continued their family's mission of fighting against night creatures.

Dracula used his ring to wish himself to be human for the last part of his life so that he could grow old with Lisa. They both had passed, at peace and content with the lives they lived.

Adrian and I figured that the world can now go on without much of our intervention. Going into vampiric sleep would also allow us to amplify our vampiric abilities.

I woke up from my vampiric sleep, my magic sensing a great imbalance with nature. The castle sensed trouble and I looked at my husband who had also woken up. He stared at me intently, a hand resting on my face. He placed a tender kiss on my lips before he looked at the dark sky.

"Something is wrong." He said as he stood up. I couldn't help but admire how he looked so ethereal at that moment. His hair and skin were lighter, but the pools of molten gold I loved so much remained. I wish I could stay and just admire him but urgent matters were at hand.

"Yes. The Castle's magic is flickering. Whatever is happening is threatening the castle." I replied.

He offered his hand to me and we teleported to the control room of the castle. We stood in front of the magical mirror.

"Show us the cause of this disturbance." Adrian ordered the mirror.

There we saw a female vampire summoning an everlasting eclipse that covered the sun.

"Since this is the work of a vampire, I'm guessing one of Trevor's and Sypha's descendants would be fighting her. Show us the Belmont." I said and the mirror showed a young Belmont struggling against the vampires and running away to escape. "The young Belmont looks like he needs saving."

"I will go to him. Stay here, Selene." My husband said and I wrapped my arms around him.

"Be careful." I told him and he placed a tender kiss on my forehead. I placed my hand on the mirror and a portal opened near where the young Belmont was.

I watched my husband arrive just in time to save the young Belmont. A wave pulsated throughout the castle, this magic is greatly affecting the castle. The flow of energy felt unstable within the castle. I watched as the reactor core flickered. I sighed. I had fixed it before we went to vampiric sleep and now something is threatening to destroy it again.
