"Oh, okay.." Y/n replied, saddened, resting their face on their palm."Um, it was nice meeting you," Tommy said, awkwardly.
"Nice meeting you, too!" Y/n said back, forcing a crooked smile.
"Hey.." Tommy started, causing Y/n to turn their head.
"Hm?" They responded, curious.
"When you get the chance.. can you tell Ranboo I'm sorry?" Tommy asked, politely. He pulled on his jacket and swung his bag over his shoulder.
"Oh, sure!" Y/n agreed, actually smiling this time.
"Today was a bit tense, but hopefully we get to see each other again," They muttered.
"Yeah, it was.. and I hope get to see you again, too!" Tommy exclaimed, not wanting to seem dismissive. He chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his neck. Y/n chuckled back and looked back at their food.
"Um.." Tommy muttered, awkwardly. He stood silently, unsure of what to say next.
"Oh! See ya later, alligator?" He started.
"After a while, crocodile," Y/n finished, smiling. Tommy smiled back and giggled, heading for the door.
"Bye, bye!" He yelled, enthusiastically, his smile growing bigger and brighter.
"Bye, bye," Y/n repeated with a much more calmer tone. Satisfied, Tommy shut the door and started on his way home.
With that, the house was completely silent, with no loud Tommy to stop it. Still, Y/n sat there, staring down at their food. They were no longer hungry, but they didn't know what to do now. They stared, saddened by their own aloneness. Course, everyone needs their alone time, and Y/n understood that. But with tension from earlier, it was nice to at least have someone in the room with them. They even debated heading upstairs and staying with Ranboo for a while, but it was clear he didn't want to talk.
I could go downstairs, and sit and read with Techno? But he might just want to read by himself- ughh, this is so hard! Y/n thought to themself, irritated. They groaned and put their plate in sink and walked towards the couch.
I assume I'll be sleeping here again. They thought, grabbing a blanket and fixing the pillows. They closed the curtains, turned off all but one light in the kitchen (for Techno), and sat down on the couch. Sighing, they shifted and now laid on their back on the couch.
"This will be a long night.." They whispered, staring at the ceiling.
Should I close my eyes? I'm sure the second I do, I'll be disturbed! They thought, their eyes feeling heavy.
Eh, whatever. They exclaimed, shutting their eyes. Immediately, Ranboo's bedroom door creaked open.
"Hey, Y/n- oh," They stopped, noticing Y/n on the couch.
"Tommy left?" He asked (mostly to themself) as he stared at the front door. Instead of answering, Y/n squeezed their eyes closed, and rolled over to face the couch cushions.
"Um, goodnight, Y/n," Ranboo whispered, walking over to the couch. They gently rubbed Y/n's arm, comfortingly.
"Mwah~" He blew them a kiss?! Y/n softly gasped, shocked.
"Wait, why did I just do that?!" Ranboo exclaimed, embarrassed.
"Uh- sorry, I- goodnight-!" They "explained", frantically running back upstairs. On the couch, Y/n shot up.
"Ranboo?!" They exclaimed.
"Night!" Ranboo called, slamming his door.
"Oh, I am definitely not going to sleep right now," Y/n muttered. Quickly, they got off the couch and headed upstairs.
