The wooden panel floor creaked as Y/n walked up and down the basement foyer. Their hand pressed up against their chin, they muttered to themself, stressed.

"Y/n. Y/n. Y/n," Techno repeated, hoping to grab Y/n's attention as they frantically walked back and down the hall, unintelligibly whispering.  Techno's eyes followed the stressed figure, his head leaning upon his palm. He sighed and looked away, bored. He looked back at Y/n, surprised for their sudden concern for a man they just met two days ago.

"Y/n," He called.

"Hm?" Y/n finally replied, turning their head as they stood in the doorway to the den.

"Why are you so nervous? Just go up there and apologize," Techno said, now leaning back on both his palms. A crooked and forced smile grew on Y/n's face; they seemed annoyed.

"It's not that easy," They said through their teeth.

"Then, I can do it for you," Techno suggested, plainly, shrugging. Y/n relaxed their mouth, surprised by Techno offer.

"You will?" They asked, stepping back.

"Sure!" Techno replied, smiling. He stood up, walked past Y/n, and headed right up the stairs. Y/n then followed, thinking that would make it a little less awkward.

Once up the stairs they both turned the corner, and spotted their black and white friend, Ranboo, in the kitchen. Standing there, with a pint of Oreo ice cream in his hand, Ranboo rose his head and looked at the two siblings. They smiled, and placed the lid back on the pint before tossing it back into the freezer.

"Hey, Boo," Techno greeted, politely.

"Hey, Techno and Y/n. Need something?" Ranboo replied, wiping their cold hands off on their clothes.

"Y/n wanted to apologize," Techno declared, pointing to his nervous sibling.

"Yeah, sorry for making you faint," Y/n chimed, looking at the floor. They looked up at Ranboo before smiling back.

"It's quite alright," Ranboo spoke, "I know you didn't mean too; you were just trying to help me, that's all," They raised their hands, shrugging.

"True, but I kind of made it a little weird," Y/n replied, slouching.

"Yeah, well, I made it even more weird by not saying anything. I guess it was a lose-lose situation," Ranboo added, tilting his head.

"Ha, yeah.." Y/n chuckled, smiling awkwardly.

"Hey! Do you need anything to eat?" Ranboo exclaimed, turning towards the fridge. Y/n looked up and smiled, excited.

"Oooh," Techno started, hungrily, "I'd love a turkey sandwich!" He asked, politely. Ranboo smiled and looked over at Y/n.

"I'll take a tuna sandwich," They asked, tilting their head, raising their shoulders. Nodding, Ranboo turned around and started making lunch for the siblings.

"Here, I can I help!" Techno offered, walking towards the fridge.

"Oh, thanks!" Ranboo replied, grateful. He grabbed a bag of bread whilst Techno pulled out lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, turkey, and tuna.

Y/n smiled at the two and sighed. Not wanting to interfere, they headed to the living room couch. Rubbing their eyes, they sat down on the couch, staring outside. They sighed, lazily. They turned their head towards the kitchen, curious.

"Okay, first, you're going to put some lettuce on the bottom. Then take the turkey.." Ranboo instructed as Techno followed. Techno placed the ingredients carefully on the bread before putting the other slice on top, and squishing the sandwich together. Ranboo stood behind him, patiently watching as Techno put the sandwich together.
