Y/n the fastest thing alive and local hero of Green Hill City lived a life of relaxation and easiness, which all came to an end when an evil maniac scientist threatened his home along with other villains. Will he prevail? Come and find out.
After another week of torturous hell crammed into one single mass of land- or better term: school-Y/n was finally slouched on his couch, carefully tuning his guitar. He plucked each string with intense concentration, listening for that right pitch.
Y/n: Come on... almost there... Don't snap on me now.
He tightened the string and gave it a pluck, only to nearly fall off the couch when his ringtone suddenly went off.
LIVE AND LEARN!!!
Y/n: GAH!!!
SNAP!
Y/n: Wha- Oh, come ON! We were right there man!!!
Groaning, he reached toward the small table and picked up his phone before he blinked in surprise at the caller ID.
Y/n: A call from Membrane? Huh. Didn't expect that. Wonder what the old man needs.
He answered and brought the phone to his ear-only to jerk it away a second later as Membrane's booming voice blasted through the speakers like an explosion.
Membrane: Y/n, my boy! How are you doing this fine morning? I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time!
Y/n: Oh, that's loud!....N-Nah- I was just tunin' my old guitar. Need something?
Membrane: Well, I'm glad you asked! You see, I was working in the lab as usual when I suddenly received a call from CORE asking for my immediate presence
Y/n sat up a little straighter.
Y/n: Immediate?... Did something happen?
Membrane: Oh it's nothing to worry about, my boy! There was just a tiny glitch in the security systems, that's all!
Y/n: A glitch? Well alright then...... so what's the reason for the call?
Membrane: Ah, right! I need someone to look after the young ones today. Normally I'd use my babysitter-bot, but it's currently shut down for... ah... undisclosed reasons. Ahem! So what do you say, Y/n?
Y/n: Babysitting, huh? Haven't done that kinda gig in a while.... But hell- you can count on me!
Membrane: Wonderful to hear! I'll notify the children immediately.
Y/n: Bet I'll be there before you even open the door!
Membrane: Always the competitive one, aren't you?
The older man chuckled as the call came to a close. . . . . . A flash of blue rushed through a quiet neighborhood, wind scattering leaves behind it, before abruptly stopping in front of a neat house with a trimmed yard.

Y/n: Yup! This looks like the place!
Y/n crumpled the piece of paper with the written address and headed down the stone pathway toward the front door.
