Y/n slowly made his way downstairs, staring at the shocked look of the older woman infront of him.
Nora: H-How long were you-
She backed away from the confused boy as he processed what he'd heard, then looked at her with a betrayed expression that made her heart clench.
Y/n: For how long?......
Nora: Y-Y/n, I- It isn't... It's not what- I never wanted-
Nora struggled to find the words as Y/n tried to steady his breathing, though the anger inside him began to boil.
Y/n: Nora... for how long?
He asked again, his voice tighter this time. Nora glanced away from his harsh gaze, shame written across her face.
Nora: Since you were a little boy...
Y/n: So basically years, then? GREAT.
He let out a scoff.
Y/n: So what? You were just gonna keep this under wraps for a couple more years? Until I finally dropped it for good?
Y/n gave a humorless chuckle, shaking his head before looking back at her with a scornful expression.
Y/n: Why would you keep something like this a secret from me?!
The sudden shout made the older woman stiffen. She closed her eyes briefly and raised a hand in an attempt to calm him.
Nora: Y/n, calm down and let's talk like normal people.
Y/n: Calm down?!
He jabbed a finger in her direction.
Y/n: Don't you tell me to calm down! You of all people knew how much she meant to me, Nora! And you just... kicked her death under the rug!
He threw his hand up and turned away from the gasping woman.
Nora: H-How could you say such a thing?! You know I cared for her as much as you did! She was like a sister to me!
She stood her ground.
Nora: Do you really believe I wanted to keep this from you?!
Y/n: Well, you did anyway!
Y/n turned back, splaying out his arms in frustration.
Y/n: And the worst part is you actually thought you could get away with it! Don't you know how messed up that sounds?!
Nora: Yes I admit it was a cruel thing to do! But I didn't do it for myself!
Y/n: Then for who?! That robot-obsessed psycho?!
Nora: Of course not! You know I would never!
Y/n: If that's the case then let's go after him! We know he did it! Let's get his ass in a jail cell already!
Y/n pointed toward the door while Nora pinched the bridge of her nose, her own frustration beginning to show.
Nora: Y/n, you're suggesting something drastic here.
Y/n: Oh, you want to talk about drastic?
He let out a bitter laugh.
Y/n: How about probing my mind and making me believe it was just some accident all these years… when you knew…
He paused for minute before his voice cracked as he clenched his fist.
