Raz: So you're actually okay with the whole "going into your mind" thing, right?
The young acrobat looked at Y/n carefully.
Y/n: Yeah.
Y/n nodded.
Y/n: I wouldn't be asking you if I didn't know what I was getting into.
Dib: Well... do you?
The little paranormal investigator leaned over the armrest of his couch with skeptical look.
Y/n: I mean kind of as far as basic information goes. I've actually been to the Psychonauts Headquarters once when I was little.
Raz's eyes widened.
Raz: You've been to the Motherlobe? Why?
Y/n: I don't really remember... it's been years now. All I do remember is that I went with Nora a few weeks after the.... incident.
His voice dipped slightly at the last word.
Y/n: I did get to meet Mrs. Vodello, though. She was super nice. Maybe they wanted to search my mind to figure out what happened? Guess they didn't find anything.
Raz: I see... I think I'm starting to get the idea why you wanted to do this now.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a tiny door no bigger than a cracker.
Raz: Alright. I'll just stick this little guy on your head, and we're set. But I'm asking one more time..... are you sure?
Y/n glanced down at his chest briefly... then back at Raz.
Y/n: Yeah. I am.
With that, Raz nodded firmly and placed the tiny door against Y/n's forehead. It stuck instantly. Raz pulled down his goggles.
Dib: Oh man! I've always wanted to see astral projection in person!
Dib jumped up and down on the couch in excitement before a small voice drifted down the stairs.
Gaz: Can you guys keep it down ?
A groggy Gaz shuffled down the stairs, rubbing her eyes.
Gaz: It's barely eleven in the morning and you're all- ...Uh. What's happening?
She froze at the sight of Raz's physical body standing completely still, arm outstretched, while a glowing psychic version of him stepped forward and entered the tiny door on Y/n's head.
Dib: Astral projection!
Gaz: ...Astro what?
THUD!!!
Both siblings jumped as Y/n's body suddenly tipped sideways and hit the floor. While Raz's physical body remained frozen like a statue.
Gaz: So... are they dead?
She nudged Y/n's unmoving body lightly with her foot.
Dib: I'm pretty sure they're just in a trance right now
He waved a hand in front of Raz's face.
Gaz: Oh... really now?
Gaz slowly grinned before she reached into her pocket and pulled out a marker, snickering as she approached the two unconscious bodies.

Raz: Let's see where we end up this time!
He steadied himself as he dove deeper into the colorful, spiraling wormhole. The rushing light swallowed him whole before he dropped onto something soft.
