I must have shifted in my sleep because the sun is in my eyes. Dang it, I forgot to close my curtain. I check the time and see that it's 6:30 which means I have to go to school. I turn myself around and go to put my hand on mattheo but when i move my hand he's not there. I look around but he's nowhere to be found. I get my phone and see that I have two new messages . from mattheo. I unlock my phone and read the messages.
"I'm sorry i had to leave, your father needed me and ryan"
"Your father enrolled me and Ryan in the same school as you so we're out getting everything we need. We won't be able to make it back to the house but We'll see you at school."
He's going to my school! I'm not sure what to text back so I just hear the messages, walk into the bathroom, set my phone on the sink and get in the shower. Once I get out i put my glasses on and check the time and it's 7:15. I walk back into my bedroom and throw my phone on my bed before walking into my closet. I look around but have no idea what to wear. I settle on a short sleeve white cropped shirt with black holy jeans. I put a pair of white and black jordan ones on and a black jacket. My hair is still a little wet so i go to my vanity and blow dry it before straightening it. Before i leave i grab my all black purse with a golden chain, my charger, phone, and throw on some bracelets. As I'm walking to the front door I grab my keys. I walk to my car and right before i put my keys in the ignition my phone dings. I get it out my pocket and check to see who texted. It wasn't saved to my phone but i knew it it was, the one person i always hear from. My "ex boyfriend". Let me explain, he was in a rival gang and my job was to get closer to him and find out something we could blackmail them with. The easiest way to do that was to get into a relationship with him. I got all the information that I needed but he ended up being obsessed with me and hasn't left me alone even though he knows I was just using him. He's always texting me but it's been more and more lately. I put my phone in my pocket not wanting to text him back. I put the keys in the ignition and leave for school.
Once I get there I see a whole bunch of girls in a circle surrounding a car. I try to get a better look at who it is and I see Mattheo and Ryan. Mattheo is leaned against an all black car that looks like a challenger, on his phone paying no attention to the girls. Ryans standing next to him trying to talk to them but they seem pretty uninterested in him, their eyes are stuck on Mattheo. I park my car and walk over to them. I try but fail to get around the swarm of girls so I pull out my phone and text Mattheo. " You have a couple of fans I see". I send it, then put my phone back into my pocket and look at him. He looks up from his phone, his eyes scan the small crowd for me and once he sees me I see a small smile grow on his face. He looks at Ryan and says something. Ryan reaches into the front seat of the car, gets a bookbag, and hands it to Mattheo. They then start walking into my direction, all the girls making a small path but keeping their eyes on Mattheo. Mattheo walks up to me and I feel someone shove me out of the way, making me fall on the ground. I look up and its savannah, savannah is the girl that makes my life a living hell. She does anything in her power to hurt me because she thinks she's better than me just because she thinks her family has more money than me, if only she knew. The only reason people don't know that I have money is because i dont show it off like her. She's always getting the newest stuff and bringing it to school and letting anyone she can about it meanwhile I keep to myself and never ever show anything off. Mattheo looks at her like she's crazy as Ryan helps me up. She looks at me for a second and smirks before looking at Mattheo '' I wouldn't talk to that trash, trust me I'm much better. "I watch as Mattheo gets closer to her and I get a little mad at how close they are now. I'm about to say something but Mattheo beats me to it. "I highly doubt that''. He starts to walk over to me and she grabs his arm. "You'd rather hang out with a loser than with me!". He pulls his arm away from her ignoring her and walks to me. He cups my face with his hands "Are you ok?" i shake my head yes and he tilts my head down kissing my forehead. All the girls that was at the car are just staring and out the corner of my eye i see savannah storming off. Mattheo lets go of my face and i ask him "what class do you have first?" "biology you?" "Trig" i say frowning and look at Ryan " what class do you have first" Ryan just looks at his schedule and squinted his eyes as if its in a different language. I snatched it out of his hand and read it. " You're in P.E" " Yes!!. It's the only class I'm good at". I grow a small smile, hand him back his paper and began walking to the doors to enter the school.
Once we get inside we part so we can find our lockers.
About five minutes after looking i find my locker and open it,i go to stick my purse in it when someone starts to slam it shut. I quickly move my hand dropping my purse in the process making all my stuff fall out. I look and see the savannah is the one who slammed my locker. I bend down to pick my stuff up when she pushed me making me lose my balance . I fall backwards landing on my butt. I look up and her and two of her friends walk up behind her laughing. She kicks some of my stuff, leans down to my level and gets close to my ear. "Your pathetic, now watch me make that boy forget all about you". With that she stood up straight and walked away. I hear the warning bell so I set myself up right feeling all the eyes on me as i start picking up all my stuff. I go to reach for my charger but someone else does to. I look back up and see Mattheo, god this is embarrassing. "Whys your stuff on the ground?" " i dropped my bag" i say back fast not wanting him to know what happened. He looks at me with a concurred look and then goes back to picking up my stuff. Once everythings picked up i reopen my locker and put my stuff in there. The bell rings as im closing my locker. "Well thats just great, now we're late to class." i start to rush to class but Mattheo stops me. I look at him confused and he just sighs. "Ill see you later then" he kisses my forehead and walks away.
