Part 7

Seventh period was the longest, all I could think about was Mattheo and this date. Where was he taking me? When is he taking me? What should i wear?.

I ended up completely ignoring what was happening in class and when the bell rang I quickly jumped out of my seat and rushed to my car. I got to my car before Mattheo and Ryan got theirs. I walked up to Mattheo's car and waited for them, but before they came savannah walked up to me looking furious. " Your little boyfriend isn't here to protect you now." She went to slap me but I grabbed her hand and pushed it away. " Look, I don't want any problems with you savannah". " Oh please, you walk around this school thinking you're so pretty. Well hate to break it to you sweetheart but you're not. You're nothing but a loser and a four eyed freak ." She grabbed my glasses off my face, threw them on the ground, and smashed them with her shoe. Everything was blurry when she pushed me up against the car behind me. Just when she was going to slap me in the face she was pulled off me. Ryan walks up to me and grabs my hand. " Can you please take me to my car?. He helps me get to my car and I sit in the front seat. I went into the glove box and pulled out my spare pair of glasses. I put them on and everything became clear. I look over at Ryan and he seems shocked that all of this is happening. I look around and see Mattheo with some strange girl. The girl is pretty, she's blond, a couple inches taller than me, She even has good style. She's holding Savannah's hands behind her back despite her trying to pull away. I get out of my car and rush over there. "Let her go.". The girl looks at me and lets her go reluctantly. Savannah storms away and the girl fixes her hair that was loose. She sticks her hand out. " Hi, I'm Nala" she gave me a warm smile and I returned it. " Aurora''. I stated my name. I felt someone walk up behind me and felt their hand on my shoulder. I look over and Ryans there. I forgot he was in my car, so I completely left him there. He looks at Mattheo and shakes his head at Mattheo. Mattheo walks up to me and puts his arm around my neck. Ryan walks over to Nala and they start talking just as Mattheo starts walking with his arm still around me so I follow him. We make our way to the passenger side of his car and open the door for me. "What about my car?" " Ryans gonna drive it to the house. "Ok". I sit in the car and buckle my seatbelt while Mattheo makes his way to his side of the car. He hands me his phone while pressing some of the buttons on the radio hooking up the phone to the Bluetooth. " the passwords 0624". He didn't look at me while he told me what the password was. He started the car and grabbed my hand resting it in my lap. I go to Spotify and turn on "replay" by Zendaya.

We pull into a Mcdonalds and i look over at Mattheo confused. He stops in front of the speaker "I thought you might be hungry since Ryan told me he didn't see you in the cafeteria". That might have been because i went to the library during lunch time. Just as I'm about to say something someone from the speaker talks. He shifts facing me "What do you want to eat?" "Ill just have a sweet tea". He looked at me with an expression that i don't recognize. He shifts back " Can i get two sweet teas and a hot fudge sundae". He pills in front of the first window "I look at him and smile. " How did you know that i liked hot fudge sundaes". "I talked to your father and he said you liked them as a kid". I look a little confused at the fact that one: He said he talked to my father and my father was ok with us going out, and two: My dad remembered that i liked them. The lady can up to the window and immediately started blushing when she saw Mattheo. She told us how much it was and Mattheo gave her the money. We pulled up to the second window and got our order. He pulled out of the McDonald's entrance and we head to the house.
