Chapter 9 I Hear Voices

Chapter 9 I Hear Voices. 

The next day all three of us were sitting at lunch. "So we know what this person will be wearing. It will be super easy to get it." Lisa said. I looked at her. "It will never be easy. We don't want to make it obvious that we know. If they know we know then, we fail." I said to her. 

"Yeah, we do have to think logically." Diana said. We looked at each other and finished out lunch. We started to walk to out next class, and I stopped at my locker. I grabbed my books. I was closing my locker, before something catched my eye. I looked real close to it and picked it up. I stared at the object for a minute. 

I put the obect in my bag, and went to class. After class I pulled Lisa and Diana aside to the bathroom. "I found this in my locker." I said to them. "Are you serious. It's just a bracelet. What's so special about it?" Diana asked. I looked at her. "I buried this with Shelly." I said looking at them. "Not only that I have a lock on my locker that needs a key." I said.  

"How did it get into your locker?" Lisa asked. I looked at her. "I have no clue." I said. The bathroom door opened the door and Eve came walking into the bathroom. We went to walk out of the bath.  

"How have you guys been?" Eve asked us. We turned around and looked at her. "Busy. We didn't know you were coming back today." Diana said. Eve looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. "Yeah. My face might be burnt up a little bit, but I can't hide forever." Eve said. 

"Yeah. I understand. I hope you find out who did it to you. Who do you think did it to?" Diana asked. Eve looked at us through the mirror. "Oh I know who did it. I watched them do. I'm just waiting to get Revenge on them and give them the Punishment they need." Eve said smiling.  

The bell rang for class. "Well we have to go. See ya later." Diana said. We all walked out of the bathroom. We all looked at each other. "She knew all along." I said. We had no clue what to do or say. It was all twisted and not what we thought.  

After school we all went to the coffee shop together. We all sit there and talk about what could was going on with Eve. "Do you think she really know?" Lisa asked. I rubbed my eyes for a second. "Pretty sure. She was staring right at us, when she said." I said to her.  

"This is all to crazy. Why didn't she tell anybody, like the police we did that to her." Diana asked. I looked at her. "Unless she is you know." I said. "I don't know. I really don't see her doing all of that, with her going through all that." Diana said to me. "We have to keep a close eye on her, and see what is up with her." I said. 

We all got up and started walking out of the coffee shop. We started walking down the street. We stopped right in our path. Right across the street, is Shelly. We all took a quick blink and she was gone. 

"Did you all just see that too?" I asked. "Yeah she was just standing right there." Lisa said. We all crossed the street and walked into the building that Shelly was standing right in front of.  

We walked up to the cash register. "Yes, did a girl with light blondish brown hair come through here." I asked. "No. A girl hasn't come in here for hours except for you three." He said. "Are you positive?" I asked. "I'm positive, April." He said. I looked at him strangly.  

"How do you know my name?" I asked. "You told me when you first walked in." He said. "N-No I didn't." I said. He looked up at the clock. "Well look at that. It's my dinner break. You guys got to leave." He said showing us the door and closing it behind us.  

I looked at the rest of the girl. "That was strange." I said. We walked to my car and drove to my house. We walked throug the door. "It's like everywhere we go, there is something more strange happening." Diana said.  

Just as I was about to close the door, a foot stopped it. I opened the door back back. Det. Marge was standing there. "Can I talk to you guys again?" He asked. "Come on in." I said. He walked into the house. We invited him into the kitchen to sit. 

"Yes, we think we have a lead with who killed Mickie the night. We are trying to figure which person did it though." He said to us. "A couple people told me there were mysterious people walking around, in full body costumes. Wondering around the wood." He said. My eyes opened wide. I started to go through a flashback. 

Flashback. 

My eyes were still closed. I could hear faint voice though talking. "What do we do with her now, since she's passed out." A male voice said. "We just leave her here. Long enough for the other girl to creep her out, and for us to get Diana." A female said."Do we just stand here and wait for her to wake up?" The male asked. "No, we can't she can't she us. Especially me." The female said.  

Present. 

I snapped back into present. I reconized the voice. How could I forget all of that. I have no clue who the male voice was, but the female. Where did she go to though, and how did I see her? The detective finished up what he was saying, then left. 

As soon as he left, Lisa came back into the kitchen. "Guys I have to tell you something I remembered from Halloween night at the party." I said. They looked up at me. "What?" They said in unison. "I heard a female and a male talking in the woods when I was passed out. The male's voice I didn't reconize. The female though, I did." I said to them. 

"I forgot all about hearing that until, now." I said to them. "I heard a female to." Diana said to me. "Who was the female talking?" Lisa asked. Lisa and Diana were glued to me, waiting for my answer to their question. I licked my lips real quick. "It was Shelly." I said.
