Performance #1: King Clawthorne

"Alright, we're all so stoked to be here tonight." Jake said. "Let's get this show on the road! Time for our first performance."

Jake took out the envelope and opened it up, to reveal the first contestant. "Our first performance tonight is. . ." He said, looking at the name. "King Clawthorne!"

The crowd all cheered as King came up on the stage and was prepared to do his performance for everyone.

"Heh. . . didn't think you'd see me again so soon?" King said. "Well, here I am! I'm ready for my performance."

"Everyone, gove it up for King Clawthorne!" Jake said, as the lights dimmed and we're all shining on King.

At that moment, rock music began as King began his performance.

King: "One! Two!

When the song was finished, everyone clapped and cheered. It was a strong start to an amazing show.

"Thank you, thank you!" King said as he bowed. "I'll be here all night."

Jake then came from behind the curtain as he grabbed the microphone from King.

"Thank you for that astonishing performance, King." Jake said. "What a beautiful start to such a magical show. And now, time for an intermission. For this, we have. . . Augustus Porter, shouting out the sponsors of the human world."

With that said, a young boy came up on stage, holding a sack of things. His name is Augustus Porter. But he goes by Gus.

"Greeting, fellow witches!" Gus said with a big smile. "Check out all of these human things! They have delicious chips covered in nacho cheese!"

As Gus was doing his thing, Jake went backstage and sighed on relief. "That's good." He said. "They seem to really be enjoying the show."

"Well, it was a smart move to pick the King of Demons to go first, wasn't it?" King said with a cocky smirk. "It got the whole crowd submitting to this show!"

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves." Melissa said. "There's still many more performances to go. Some may be better than yours, King."

"Well, to that, I say 'ha'!" King said. "No one can outmatch the King of song!"

"Aww, he's so cute!" Makayla said, picking up the tiny demon. "I'm jealous that you've got this little guy as your friend, bro."

"Weh! Let me go, you vile fiend!" King said, trying and failing to squirm out of Makayla's grasp.

Melissa and Jake both just laughed at the cute moment between the two of them.

"So. . . how do you think this show will end?" Melissa asked.

"It's hard to say for sure." Jake said. "But what I do know, is that we're all having fun. And the winner will be most happy with the prize."

"What even is the prize?" Melissa asked.

"It's a surprise for a reason, Mel." Jake smirked. "You'll have to wait to see who gets it and win of you want it."

"I wanna win the special prize!" King said, still trying to escape from Makayla's grasp.

"Oh, looks like Gus is finished with his sponsors." Melissa said. "Time to announce the next contestant."

Jake nods and goes back out to the stage. "Welcome back, folks." He said. "Hopefully that was an interesting time for you all to learn more about her man culture. As a half-human myself, I've grown quite accustomed to it very well. Since I was born, in fact."

The crowd was silent.

"Uh. . . anyway, let's move on to the next contestant of the night." Jake said, taking out the envelope. "Our next performer of the night is. . . oh, look a that! It's my sister, Hevanora Kurayami!"
