Half-Show: Christmas Feast

During halftime, everyone went back into the Owl House as they waited for food to arrive.

"Aw man, I'm so hungry." King said. "I could eat a horse."

"So, Jake. . . when do we get to feast?" Eda asked.

"Not yet, Eda." Jake said. "The food isn't here yet."

"What's taking so long?" Knuckles asked. "I thought Mikan knew a chef."

"I-I'm sorry." Mikan said. "He said he'll be running a little late."

"He must've been caught off guard when he was given a last minute order." Wallflower said. "He's probably rushing his cooking as we speak."

"I just want to eat already!" King complained.

"Hey, guys!" Makayla called from the front door. "Look who's here!"

Makayla then came into the living room with a young man dressed in chef attire.

"It's The Ultimate Cook, Teruteru Hanamura, with the food!" Makayla said excitedly.

"I told you to address me as The Ultimate Chef!" Teruteru said, feeling offended. "It makes it sound more fresh and official."

"Wow, we're glad you're here, Teruteru." Jake said. "What took so long?"

"Well, you don't know how it feels to get called for a last minute order." Teruteru said, starting to get angry. "I better be paid greatly for this."

"S-Sorry. . ." Mikan said.

"You don't need to keep apologizing." Melissa said, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Well, what did you bring us?" Jake asked.

What did I bring you?" Teruteru repeated. "I'll tell you what I bring you."

At that moment, music began to play and Teruteru began to sing.

Teruteru: "The first Polish
Christmas dish I bring
to the party,
A boiled potato topped
with dillweed

The second Polish
Christmas dish I bring
to the party,
Two steamed pierogies..."

"What's a pierogi?" Knuckles asked.

"It's a dough, wrapped around meat" Teruteru explained.

"Oh!" Knuckles, said amazed.

All: "And a boiled potato
topped with dillweed"

Teruteru: "The third Polish
Christmas dish I bring
to the party,
Three simmered gołąbkis..."

"What's a gołąbki?" Makayla asked.

"It's a cabbage wrapped around meat" Teruteru explained.

"Oh" Makayla said, taking a bite of the morsel.

Knuckles: "Two steamed pierogies"

All: "And a boiled potato
topped with dillweed"

Teruteru: The fourth Polish
Christmas dish I bring
to the party
Four baked paprikas..."

"Now, what is a paprika?" Douxie asked.

"It's a bell pepper stuffed with meat" Teruteru explained.

"I see" Douxie said, understanding.

Makayla: "Three simmered gołąbkis"
