Performance #6: Wallflower Blush

"Anyway, it's time to announce the next person." Jake said.

"Jake. . . can I pick one?" Mikan asked.

"Well, this is typically the host's job, but. . . I'll make an exception." Jake said, holding the envelope to Mikan to pick out a name.

Mikan smiled as she reached in the envelope and pulled out a name. "Wallflower Blush!" She said, holding up the piece of paper with the name on it.

The crowd cheered as Wallflower shyly came up to the stage and grabbed the microphone.

"You got this, Wallflower." Jake said.

Jake and Mikan then went backstage as Wallflower took a deep breath and held the mic to her mouth.

"So, every performance so far was happy and cheery." Wallflower said. "But I have a song that will help calm the nerves and hopefully not put you to sleep."

As she said that, music began to play and Wallflower began to sing.

Wallflower: "Silent night,

When the song was done, everyone cheered for Wallflower as she smiled and bowed. "Thank you." She said. "It's about time everyone had a calm song by someone."

"And a beautifully calm song it was." Jake said, coming from backstage. "Let's hear it for Wallflower everybody!"

Everyone cheered once again as the two of them went backstage.

"That was so awesome!" Makayla said with a smile on her face.

"So calming." Melissa said. "I found myself nearly dozing off there for a second."

"Thanks." Wallflower blushed.

Suddenly, the group heard snoring coming from below. They looked down to see Mikan and King snuggled up and sleeping backstage.

"Aww, how precious." Makayla cooed. "I guess your song worked wonders on them, Wallflower."

"Should we. . . wake them?" Wallflower asked.

"Let's let them sleep." Jake said. "They already had their performances anyway."

"Hey, is it my turn yet?" Douxie suddenly came out of nowhere and asked. "I've been aching to get up there and sing."

"Douxie?" Jake said in surprise. "Where have you been? The only time we've seen you was when we were feasting with Teruteru."

"I've been rehearsing." Douxie said with a smile.

"Right. . . we'll see what happens." Jake said.

With that said, Jake went upstage and took out the envelope. "Alright, we've had our moment of calm." He said. "But now, we have to get back to other potential hype songs."

"Actually, my song is pretty calm too." Douxie said from backstage.

"Douxie!" Jake yelled back at him, before turning his attention to the crowd. "Anyway. . . let's see who's next."

Jake took out a name from the envelope. And with only a few left, he could easily attempt to predict who would be next.

"Next up is. . ." Jake said as he read the name. "Oh. . . Hisirdoux Casperan."
