About an hour later, everyone managed to feel better after the large feast that they had. Jake got up and went up to the stage, where everyone was confused on why they took so long.

"Sorry, everyone." Jake said. "We had to take a break for a while. We had a lot to eat. But we're back!"

The crowd then cheered as instantly as it seemed that Jake was forgiven by them.

"So, how about we waste no time." Jake said, taking out the envelope. "The next performance is. . . Mikan Tsumiki!"

The crowd all cheered as Mikan timidly made her way on the stage.

"You got this, girl." Jake whispered to her. "I believe that you can do good."

Mikan nodded and put on a small smile as she slowly walked up to the front of the stage.

"Uh. . . hello, everyone." Mikan said. "I guess it's my turn now, to sing. Uh. . . I haven't really planned out anything, but, uh. . ."

Mikan then whimpered as she looked back towards Jake, who was standing just behind the front curtain. He gave her two thumbs up and a warm smile to make her feel better.

Mikan took a deep breath as music began to play and she just began to sing the first song to come into her mind.

Mikan: "We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy New Year

Day one: time to get my list in shape
Christmas is around the corner
So much to do,
not a moment left to wait
Have to get it done before
the holidays are here
It's that Christmas time of year
So everybody sing

We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy New Year

Through the streets of boutiques
Picking out the perfect presents
Every shop,
have to stop
Try to find the perfect gift
Now the tree has to be
Just the perfect one - that's it!
That's the one!

Every light shining bright
Starting from the base to tip
Have to bake, decorate
Now I need the perfect dress -
a success!

Oh, no, I can't be late
I've got to perform at Jake's
Christmas show
Where everybody sings

We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy New Year

People caroling,
singing songs we know and love
Music fills the air,
rising to the stars above
Watching snow,
reading by the fire
Family close,
stockings hung with care
Outside those people
singing merrily
Listen close as they start to sing"

Mikan and Choir:
"We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy New Year"

Mikan: "Time to stop and
count my blessings
Put the craziness aside
Christmas only comes around
once a year
And every year fills my heart
with pride
When everybody sings"

Mikan and Choir:
"We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy... New... Year"

When the song was over, everyone suddenly began clapping and cheering.

"Eeek!" Mikan squeaked in surprise as she dropped the microphone, causing feedback to happen and everyone suddenly stopped cheering to cover their ears.

"I'm sorry!" Mikan said. "I got startled. Please don't hate me!"

Jake then came out of the curtains to pick up the mic. "Mikan Tsumiki, everyone! Let's give her a hand." He said.

Silence. The crowd was silent.

"Uh. . . thanks for your time." Jake said, pulling Mikan backstage.

"Oh. . . .I messed up!" Mikan said, now crying. "Now everybody hates me!"

"No one hates you, Mikan." Melissa said. "It was an accident."

"I'm just so accident prone." Mikan said, still crying. "I shouldn't have went up there."

"Hey, hey. . ." Jake said, kneeling down in front of Mikan and lifting her head up to look him in the eyes. "You did great. That was just one tiny mistake. It happens to everyone."

Mikan sniffed. "B-But. . ."

"Don't beat yourself up about it." Jake smiled warmly at her. "That was a great performance. Heck, you might even win once the crowd realize how amazing you were."

"You really think so?" Mikan asked.

"Of course I do." Jake said, wiping away her tears. "I've never been more proud of you before tonight. You really shined out there."

Mikan smiled. "Thanks, Jake." She said, giving him a hug. "Where would I be without you?"

"Probably still getting bullied, if I had to guess." Knuckles said, before getting smacked on the head by Eda. "Hey, what was that for?"

"It's Christmas." Eda said. "Be nice."

"Alright, I'll go and get the next performance started." Jake said, standing up.

"Wait. . . c-can I go up there with you?" Mikan asked.

"Uh. . . sure." Jake said.

Mikan smiled and went up with Jake to the stage.

"Sorry about that, everyone." Jake said. "Mikan tends to get really nervous. You sudden cheering might've freaked her out a bit."

"And I'm sorry too." Mikan said. "Hopefully this doesn't mess up my chances of getting votes."

"Anyway, it's time to announce the next person." Jake said.

"Jake. . . can I pick one?" Mikan asked.

"Well, this is typically the host's job, but. . . I'll make an exception." Jake said, holding the envelope to Mikan to pick out a name.

Mikan smiled as she reached in the envelope and pulled out a name. "Wallflower Blush!" She said, holding up the piece of paper with the name on it."
