Chapter 2 - The way to Hogwarts

Upon entering the brick of wall, you were surprised by the view of such place called the Diagon Alley. To your left you saw a store that sells not just any normal candies, but candies that can change colors.

To your right you saw a store selling animals or familiars is what they call them such as owls, rats, cats, snakes, and toads. Your eyes wandered everywhere, you felt like you were in a whole new world which you probably are.

Hermione in your right chuckled quietly as she sees you so happy. You puzzled as to why Hermione was chucking, decided to ask Hermione "Why are you chuckling?" Smiling, Hermione replied gently "Because the look on your face is the same as mine the first time I went into Diagon Alley" said Hermione happily.

Hermione proceeded to ask you more regarding your last name. As it is known to the whole wizarding world that your mother, Tiffany <Y/S>, was the number one auror during her time and was famous and talented enough to be promoted as the Minister from 1972 until you were born in 1980. Weird enough, you yourself didn't even know that your mother was a pureblood who married a muggle born.

Her brain thriving for knowledge, immediately asked "Did you know that your mother was an auror?" Puzzled and confused but tried to keep your cool, you replied in a gentle but puzzled voice "She was? Whatever that is though." Enthusiatically, Hermione replied with a excited tone "One of the best actually. They even made a statue of your mom in the Department of Ministry. You should visit it sometimes. Ron's dad can accompany you. He works there as well, although now might not be the right timing."

Before you could respond, you were immediately interrupted by two other boys. One wearing a glasses and having a scar in his forehead. While one had a ginger hair and was not wearing a glasses. They both greeted Hermione while Hermione introduced you to the 2 boys. They also introduced themselves.

Happy as to meeting her friends again, she introduced you to them excitedly but changes tone halfway and became serious, " This is <Y/N>. <Y/FN>. She will be joining us in Hogwarts as a 5th year like us, so you boys better treat her nicely."

The boys slightly nodded and introduced themself.

"I'm Harry. Harry Potter. Nice to meet you." said the boy in glasses calmly.

"Hey, I'm Ronald Weasley. You can call me Ron. It's nice to meet you." said the ginger haired boy enthusiastically.

After some introductions and chatting, you told Hermione about the stuff you needs to bring to Hogwarts.

Worried but relieved knowing you have Hermione, you immediately asked her, "Hermione, I need to buy all of these stuffs, but where do I-" Hermione cutted you off "Oh! Don't worry about the other stuffs. Harry and Ron will take care of it." said Hermione while giving a genuine smile to you but a sarcastic smile to the boys.

Puzzled and confused as to what Hermione just said, they both confusingly asked frantically, "We will?" asked Harry and Ron at the same time. Jinx!

Upon hearing their response, Hermione just rolled her eyes and shook her head a little and smiled again when she looked at you and told you to come with her. Hermione dragged you into a store at the end of the alley called "Ollivander's Wand Shop". Upon entering, they were greeted with a old but wise man. Apparently Hermione knows the man and he is called as Ollivander.

Hermione immediately explained to you as to why she dragged you here, "This is Mr. Ollivander, the finest wand maker. Before you could go to Hogwarts, you obviously need a wand, or else you would probably not survive a day there..."
