Laughter filled the room as me and Cam talked for hours, which seemingly seemed like seconds.
"You know Jules is lying about the whole gang thing." Cam revealed between bites of a half eaten kebab."Really?" I asked, deftly rolling yet another blunt.
"Mhm." she affirmed, swiping the sauce from her lips with her thumb, "She told me she's only doing it to get with Matt or whatever. He was like totally staring at her when she was working at the store.""I'm not that surprised honestly." I responded, my tone indifferent. "Good for her I guess."
"The only thing I'm surprised about is that Matt was looking at her," I continued, "totally didn't peg either one of em for having a thing for bone thugs."
"She really needs to get over that eating disorder." Cam added, still enjoying her kebab endlessly as if it was the best thing she had ever eaten.
I let out a small laugh at her words. "Must be a pain to work as a cashier though, seeing people buying all that food. She's strong minded, I guess."
"Strong minded is wild." Cam managed to utter amid her silent laughter. After a brief moment of silence my best friend spoke up again as I lit the blunt, "Oh, Aubrey was asking about you."
"Fuck Aubrey." I stated boldly, making Cam look at me with shock. "No, Aubrey's nice!" She dragged her words out in a whiny tone.
"I hope her dad and his friends run a train on her."
Cam laughed through shock, "Bro what'd she do?"
"She's a fucking bitch, always talking to me like she's smarter or some shit, like I'm a kid. Fuck that, Chris is better. But fuck Chris too.""You need to stop." She said, making me smile a little bit.
