the ravenclaw common room had to be one of the most peaceful and airiest common rooms of the 4 houses here in hogwarts with one of the best views of the surrounding facilities and nature.
located at ravenclaw tower on the west side of hogwarts, it was a wide, circular room, the ceiling dotted with numerous stars, the occasional calming sound of wind whistling throughout the room.
only the wittiest, and brightest, gain entrance to this room.

umi suzuki was at the library in the common room. yes, the ravenclaws had their own library with a vast selection of books in their own common room.
she thoroughly browsed through the shelves, trying to find a particular potions book to aid her in her research paper, her brows slightly furrowed as she concentrated on the titles on the spines of the books.
it was at that moment when she felt a presence behind her, looming over her.
ominous...
"BOO!"
ah. it was just chaewon.
a fellow ravenclaw, chaewon was umi's lifeline. without her, umi thinks she wouldn't be able to get through the school year. of course, her other besties- yunjin, kazuha and eunchae deserved credit too, but her only ravenclaw companion really helped her stay sane in every step of the way.
umi sighed, bringing an arm around chaewon's neck, giggling softly.
"you're very funny."
"that did not sound reasssuring."
"hey!"
maybe it was the wind, but at that moment, umi felt a cold shudder down her spine.

well, it was partly due to the wind, but mostly because someone else, down, down below, was thinking about her.
someone was hatching a plan.
and that was none other than nishimura riki, a proud slytherin.
"RIKI! are you sure you want to do this? there are a million ways this could go wrong." jay reasoned, trying to back riki out of this. sometimes, jay wished he didn't entertain riki's fantasies. but what could he do?
jay paces worriedly around the slytherin common room, located in the dungeons, greenish lamps dimly lighting the place.
"yeah yeah, what do you take me for? i'm the school's mischief boy, everyone knows they should be cautious around me! only umi has yet to show any signs of fear! and i. want. her. to. be. scared."
"woah there riki. don't you think you've changed a lot? your intentions are becoming more dark..."
"i guess salazar slytherin is speaking to me."
"haha. very funny."
"hey! aren't you a slytherin too? you don't sound like one."
"no... it's just... umi's the head girl. okay. that's huge. the heads are under thorough protection. it's not that easy. but of course, if you think you can pull it off, i won't stop you."
after all, slytherins are supposed to be ambitious. to achieve their goals, no matter how unattainable they seem. it's just in the blood of a slytherin.
riki sighed heavily, before abruptly standing up from the obsidian black couch, quickly dusting off his green robes, and strolling back to his dormitory.
jay knew there and then that riki had made up his mind.
