Jeff sat at the edge of the cliff, Staring out at the needles. It may of been a happy sunny day but Jeff was far from that.
"The needles, A pretty sight! Hello Jeff" A voice said from behind.
"Doctor, I'm happy on my island life, it's much calmer than yours. Not bothered by anyone, I stay out the way, I've not have to regenerate yet." Jeff sighed Pulling out a cigarette and lighting it.
"I'm on body 7 now, Rrregeneration is overrated But it's a part of life, helping these human beings is rewarding you know. You'll regenerate soon, your body looks to be wearing thin, your not exactly as young as you look." The doctor said, sitting down next to Jeff.
"600 years Doc, 600 since that day on Gallifrey, after my father told me to never return I did exactly that. I'm not a Timelord, I'm a hideaway who just happens to live forever. Whatever happened to my father?" Jeff sighed.
"There's a war, a big war happening right now, your father became lord president in the end he's still alive but half the cabinets dead, theres talk Rassilon is being resurrected to Take down the enemy, the Daleks, they can time travel now too." The doctor explained.
"well that's that then, I'm staying put I'm not a soldier, I'm not a hero, I'm just me doctor. I'm staying on this island too, I see all the chaos in the papers, cybermen, robots, U.N.I.T, The Perivale missing, what's next? The Master Showing up?" Jeff ranted.
"I'm afraid he's Half feline, a cheetah person." The doctor Said. "If you insist I can't change your mind, I'll keep tabs on you though, A life without family, friends and living in a single place gets boring, plus I best get back to ace before she gets in trouble." The doctors stood back up Lifted his hat and dusted himself off. "Love the fire engine by the way, Is that a type 42?" The doctor asked.
"Can you tell, Chameleon Circuit is a dud" Jeff replied. "Just don't drag me into anything, see ya doctor."
