"Morning Jeffrey!" Buster the local news agent said to his regular customer with a smile.
"Buster my man, how you doing today?" Jeff replied with a smile. He had been in the isle of white for 10 years now he'd flown around allover the place for years trying to get use to a TARDIS with no training or experience. He landed on the Isle of wight and stayed there since.
"these headlines today Jeff, they are awful, People disappearing in Perivale, U.N.I.T cybermens! It is terrible, Say, you're a clever chap, what do you think about it all?" Buster said as he handed Jeff his daily paper.
"I think it's all rubbish and I'm staying out of it, why do you think I live on an island?" Jeff handed Buster the money. "Its quiet, no drama ever hits us. It's just how I always wanted life."
"Hardly quiet with your mode of transport around, Be careful, someone might mistake it as a real Fire engine instead of a decommissioned one." Buster said as Jeff smiled and began to leave.
"HEY, HEY get away from my truck!" Jeff ran over as a middle aged man and a teenage girl Looked through his windows and kicked his tyres. "What on earth do you think you are doing with my Vehicle?!" Jeff Shouted at the man.
"Pardon me Sir," the man lifted his hat and placed it back on his head. "I'm the doctor, this is my good friend Ace." The man smiled. Ace looked at the man.
"well, What on earth are you doing? Tell him prof!" Ace said turning to the doctor.
"ah yes, this fire truck, where did you get it from? The man asked, holding his Jacket and tilting his head up inquisitively.
"I got it second hand, decommissioned fire engine, it's not for sale now will you leave me alone, Doctor.
"No need for the attitude!" Ace snapped.
"Quiet Ace, it's just there's something off about this engine, it seems rather new."
The doctor looked around it.
"I can assure you, there's nothing wrong with it I'll be on my way now, bye 'the' doctor." Jeff got in his engine and drove away, No was the doctor going to drag him into his life.
"He's a strange dude prof." Ace said as the engine sped away.
"Indeed, I think I know him. He was a student at our gallifrey academy, he was tipped to be the next Lord President but he letdown our tutor, his father." The doctor explained. "His name is, or was, Jeff"
"Pfft JEFF! Imagine that leader of the timelords, president of the most important race in the universe. AND HE'S CALLED JEFF!" Ace laughed.
"How about you explore Osborne house, I'm off to go talk to my fellow timelord" the doctor smiled.
