chapter four: making up

Once we got backstage, I realized that I had left Finn's letter under the stairs. I told Hailey I would be right back so I could go and find it. I ran back to the stop where we were, but I didn't see it there. I hope that Finn grabbed it. I walked back to Hailey but I couldn't find her. I went back to the clubhouse to get ready to leave for the night. We got into the parking lot and left to go back to the hotel. I got to me, and Hailey shared a room. I opened the door to see she wasn't in there. I dropped my stuff down and headed out to eat with Damian and JD.
Hailey Pov
I arrived at my hotel room after having dinner. I opened the door to see Dom's stuff but not him. I figured that he was at dinner with the others. I sat down on the couch and started to watch tv. After some time, I heard a knock on the door, and I didn't think much of it. I opened the door to see Finn standing there, which led to my heart dropping to my stomach.
"Can I come in," Finn asked.
I shake my head, yes. I was afraid of what he was going to say to me. I stepped out of his way as I closed the door.
"Did you get my letter," Finn asked.
"No," I said.
"Oh and you should have gotten it tonight, but that's fine,"
"So what is up,"
"I wanted to talk things out with you,"
"Ok,"
"I just wanted to tell  you that I'm sorry about everything that has happened,"
"I wanted to tell you that I hope we can fix our relationship with each other," Finn said.
"Yeah and same," I said.
The two of us talked everything out. It felt great to talk those things out, but I still felt a little guilty about everything that I said to Finn. I know I should have listened to him that day, but I still felt bad about everything. The two of us hugged each other and apologized as well. As we were hugging, I heard the door open.
"It seems like I'm interpreting something," Dom said.
Me and Finn broke our hug. I smiled at him before Finn started to say something.
"Before I forget, but I got something for you," Finn said.
I turned around to face him to see what he was going to give to me. Finn handed me a wrap box. I started to rip the wrap off the box to see a doll, a different version of the one I got when I was little. I gasped out loud when I saw it. Finn smiled as Dom looked very confused.
"I knew you were going to like it," Finn smiled.
"No I love it, and thank you," I said.
"Of course. I had to get it because it reminded me of the day we met on Christmas," Finn said.
"How could I forget that day," I smiled
"Can someone fill me in please," Dom asked.
"Dominik, I told the story already," I said.
"Well I would remember it," Dom said.
"Finn, do you want to tell him or should I," I asked.
"I wouldn't mind telling him since he doesn't remember anything from what you told him before," Finn said.
Finn Pov
Flashback
I was in Ireland with Anna before we were heading to The U.K. I got gifts for everyone besides Hailey yet. We had some time before we had to go on our flight. I was in a toy store looking at the dolls in the toy store. There was one doll that caught my eye. It had a royal blue dress and had a silver crown with dark blue jewels. I grabbed it and bought it. After some time, we landed in the uk.  I got gifts for everyone besides Hailey yet. We had some time before we had to go on our flight. I was in a toy store looking at the dolls in the toy store. When we arrived at Jane's house, I was very nervous about meeting everyone. Jane opened the door and smiled at us. She showed us to the living room. Jane was the first to come into the living room with us behind her.
"You two need to stop fighting over the cookie," Jane laughed.
Anna moved to the other side of her sister. A little girl jumped down from the coach and ran to my aunt.
"Aunt Anna," the little girl screamed.
The girl gave her aunt a giant hug. While being confused about who I was next to her.
"Who is this," the girl asked.
"This is my boyfriend Finn," Anna smiled.
"Finn, this is Hailey," Anna said.
Hailey couldn't help but run up to me and hug me. I smiled before hugging her back. Her brothers came up after her to greet me. Hailey ended up getting picked on by her mom before she got run over by her brothers. After I got greeted by everyone, Jane showed us to our room. When she left, my nerves started to calm down.
"I told you that they would like you," Anna smiled.
"Ok you were right about it," I said.
We started to unpack before we headed back down for dinner. Soon, I knew it was Christmas time. Me and Anna were the last ones down in the morning. Hailey ran up to me to give me a bear hug. After some time, I gave my gifts to everyone but saved Hailey for last. I gave Hailey her gift after everyone opened their presents. She ripped the paper off to reveal a doll that was a medium shade of blue dress with a gold crown that had the same color blue jewels.
"You were so happy that day," I smiled.
"Of course I was after I saw that doll," Hailey laughed.
"Now you understand Dom," I asked.
"Yep and now I slightly remember that story," Dom said.
The three of us continued to talk before I had to head out for the night.
