Chapter twenty nine: Lies, Lies and heartbreak

 Hailey was getting ready for her date night. She was nervous and excited for the date. She didn't know what to expect. The doorbell rang, and Edwin opened the door to see Dominik. Edwin called out for her daughter. Hailey came down the stairs. Dom put his arm out for her, and they were off to the restaurant. When they arrived, Dom was being the best boyfriend than he was before. He did feel bad for how he was treating Hailey before. Once dinner was done, Dom took Hailey to their spot. He wanted to make it up to her.

"Listen, I know I have been a shitty boyfriend, and tonight I want to make it up to you," Dom said.

"So the rest of the night in our spot, we can talk anything you want," Dom added.

"Is there anything else you have been keeping from me," Hailey asked.

"No, everything that happened these last months I should have told you, not Finn," Dom stated.

"Ok, but I wish you told me instead of him," Hailey said.

"I know, and I will be better about," Dom promised.

"One more thing," Hailey said.

"Yes," Dom said.

"Do you promise that you won't get involved with the match," Hailey said.

"I promise," Dom smiled.

Hailey and Dom talked more about things that they needed to fix about their relationship. The night ended with the two of them sharing a kiss. Monday came around fast, and Hailey was nervous about her match. Dom stopped by the locker room to talk to Hailey.

"I wanted to wish you good luck tonight," Dom smiled.

"Thanks and you too," Hailey smiled.

The girls were giving Dom a look, which made him say his goodbye to Hailey.

"Are the two of you back together," Emma asked.

"Yeah, and we talked things out," Hailey said.

"That's good, and if you two are working things, then we are happy for you," Lydia said.

"I just hope he doesn't get involved with my match," Hailey said.

Finn finally had a promo by himself. He called out Damian , and he did respond quickly. The two of them went back and forth with each other before Jd, Dom, and Carlito attacked Damian. Rhea came out to help Damian out. The ending turned out to be the worst. Rhea and Damian were rushed to a medical center after the attack. Hailey was furious after what they did to her friends. She was more than ready to flicker pain on Liv after what she did to Rhea and Damian. Hailey watched Dom's match in the locker room. She was disappointed that he won but the lights turned out. Nikki came from under the ring and stared down the Judgment Day. She had something in her hand. Finn was the one to grab the letter from her. He opened the letter to see the words. All of you better watch your backs in red ink. There was nothing else to it besides that. Hailey's match was right after Finn and Rey's match. The nerves were starting to get, and those thoughts of doubt started creeping in her mind. Hailey started to doubt whether Dom was going to help Liv or not.

"Hailey, we are ready for you," a guy yelled.

I walked into the curtains and waited for my music to play. I took deep breaths before the match. I walked out there, trying to feel the existing energy the crowd was putting off. Hailey got into the ring and took one more deep breath before the bell rang. Hailey and Liv started going after each other. Hailey was throwing punchings left and right. She looked like she was getting the upper hand in the match. After a few pin attempts and Dom distracting the referee, Hailey was starting to feel frustrated. She tried everything to put Liv away, but nothing was working. She started to pull moves from her mom's book. That feeling of defeat started to take control. Hailey tried to push those feelings down and focus on her match. Dom distracted the referee one more time, and then Hailey's heart dropped. She saw the chair in the ring with her and Liv. Hailey's vision was cloudy, and she didn't know anything that happened until she heard.
