chapter six: Christmas special

*Sorry for the late Christmas chapter*
I gave her a smile as she continued to look around. The doorbell rang, I walked over to the door to reveal Finn at the door with his wife. I let them come in since we agreed to do a mini christmas gathering with the four of us. When Hailey noticed after taking in the beauty of the house, she ran right up to them.
"Finn," She yelled.
The two of them hugged each other before Hailey attacked Vero with a hug. They were her aunt and uncle even though they might not be related to each other. She still loved them no matter what.
"Oh, come on, Dom, join the hug," Finn laughed.
I shaked my head and then joined the three of them in the hug. Once the hug broke, Hailey started to talk.
"What are you guys doing here," Hailey asked.
"We came here to spend time together before Christmas comes around," Finn smiled.
Hailey smiled as she hugged me. She was very excited to see them but little did she know, I was going to surprise her to see her family for christmas but more importantly to see and meet her family for the first time.Well besides that I have met her mother. I haven't told her yet until after the next row.
"Earth to Dom," Hailey said.
I snapped out of my thoughts and smiled at them. The four of us continued to talk before me and I started working on dinner. The two of us made dinner while Hailey and Vero catched up since they hadn't seen each other in a while. When the two of us finished making dinner, I called Hailey and Vero for dinner. We all sat down at the table and started to talk.
"So what are you guys going to do for Christmas," Hailey asked.
"We are going to spend time with Vero's family," Finn smiled.
"How about you guys," Vero asked.
"Well, I wanted to go back home, but flights were booked," Hailey said.
Me and I looked at each other before I spoke up about everything.
"Maybe you still can go," I hinted.
"What do you mean," Hailey questioned.
I got up to grab my phone to show her the tickets I bought for us to go over there. I showed her my phone.
"Wait, we are both going," Hailey asked.
"Yep, and it's time to meet the rest of your family," I said.
"Yeah, but when do we leave," Hailey asked.
"After Raw next week," I smiled.
"I can't wait for you to meet the rest of my family," Hailey said.
"Dom, you have to be careful with her brothers," Finn laughed.
"They aren't that bad anymore since it's been years since you have seen them," Hailey said.
"Ok, true, and you got a point," Finn said.
"Wait, wait, who am I all meeting besides your mom," I asked.
"My dad and my four brothers plus their panthers and their kids," Hailey said.
"Oh god, and I didn't think I was going to meet that many people," I said.
Hailey laughed and said, "It's ok, and trust me, they will love you,"
All of us finished up our conversation and headed off to the living room to watch tv. While Finn brought up their stuff to the guest room. Once he came back down, we started to watch a movie. Me and hailey were all cuddling up with each other while Finn tried to play it smoothly with his wife. It was funny trying to watch him play it cool. After the movie ended, I looked down to see Hailey asleep. Finn gave me the nod to bring Hailey up to our bedroom. I carried her up the stairs to the room. I set her down on the bed and then pulled a blanket over her. I gave her a kiss before making my way downstairs. I noticed Finn was gone. This is the perfect time for me to clean up before making my way to bed.
"Do you need help," the familiar Irish voice asked.
"If you want to," I said.
Finn came closer and started to help clean up. After we were all done with cleaning up, we sat down on the couch before we started to speak to each other.
"Thanks for helping," I said.
"No problem," Finn said.
"So how have you been after everything," I asked.
"Good and ready to break from fighting. How about you," Finn said.
"Good as well," I said.
"Are you ready to meet her family," Finn asked.
"Yeah, but I'm nervous to meet them," I said.
"I get that, but they will welcome you with open arms," Finn said.
"I know, but something tells me that they might not," I denied.
"Now why is that," Finn questioned.
"After everything that has happened with me," I comforted.
"I mean, what if they hate on the stuff I have done with the Judgment day," I added.
"Dom," Finn said.
"What if they don't like me," I said.
"Dom," Finn said, raising his voice.
"What if they kick me out of the house? Then where do I go? I panicked.
"DOMINICK," Finn yelled.
"Let me speak so you can come down," Finn added.
I nodded my head while I listened to Finn.
"Trust they aren't going to kick you out, and Jane already loves you. Trust me, her and Hailey won't let you be kicked out," Finn said.
I let Finn finish up talking about everything. He made sure that I was ready to meet them. The next day, the four of us did a little Christmas with each other. After we opened all of our presents, we got each other. Of course, Finn got a lot of legos to build when he got home.
"So who do you have for the secret santa," Finn asked.
"Why would I tell you," I laughed.
"I thought maybe I would break you," Finn said.
"Nope, and you gotta wait till monday," I smiled.
Some time has passed, and I just finished up everything from Raw. I changed out of my gear before meeting up with Hailey. Before I could Finn stop me.
"I wanted to say thank you again for the gift," Finn said.
"You're welcome and glad you like it," I said,
"I also wanted to wish you good luck with her family tonight," Finn said.
"Thanks, and I'm going to need it," I said
"Let me know how everything goes when you get back, but have a safe trip," Finn said.
"Thanks, and we will," I said.
Finn smiled at me before walking away. I went over to Hailey's locker room to see if she was there. I knocked on the door and saw Emma open the door. She let me in as Hailey was finishing up putting her gear in her suitcase.
"You ready," I asked.
"Yes I am," Hailey smiled.
She grabbed her stuff while she said goodbye to Emma before we headed out. We drove straight to the airport. After some time, we were on the plane. I held Hailey's hand for most of the ride there, but I ended up falling asleep. I felt Hailey waking me up and telling me we landed. I grabbed my things and headed off the plane. We grabbed our bags and headed over to see Jane. Once Hailey saw her, she ran to hug her. I walked up behind them as they broke their hug. Jane gave a hug and then took some bags to help us out. All three of us arrived at Hailey and Jane's house. Hailey got out of the car and ran straight to the front door.
"She just excited," Jane said,
"I know," I said.
Hailey Pov
I ran into the house to see dad first. I hugged him while my brothers came down to greet me. After I hugged everyone, my mom and Dom came walking through the front door. I went by Dom to introduce everyone to him.
"Guys, this is my boyfriend Dominik," I said.
"Nice to meet you," Dad smiled.
The two of them shaked each other's hands. My brothers were really quiet around him. I brushed it off for now. My dad went over to Dom and started to talk with him. They ended up pulling me aside to a different room so we could talk.
"Hailey, we need to talk," Alex asked.
"Sure, what is up," I said.
"So you are dating him," James questioned.
"Yeah, and what about it," I said.
"Do you not know what he has done," Liam asked.
"I do, but he has changed," I said.
"Sure, he has, but don't come running to us when he breaks your heart,"James said.
"Yeah, and don't want him around," Liam added.
"Oh, come on, I didn't have a problem with your guys' wives and girlfriend," I addressed.
"That's because our wives and girlfriend won't even think about doing something like that," Alex stated.
"Ok, but don't come to me when your kids choose him as their uncle," I said.
Before any of them could say anything, Liam heard his kids charge at Dom.
"Told you so," I smiled.
All of them were angry when I walked away. I walked over to them and smiled at Dom.
"Aunt Hailey, is this our uncle," Jax asked.
"Yes," I smiled.
The triplets ran up to Dom and attacked him with a big hug. Dad pulled me to the side to talk to me while Dom was dealing with the triplets.
"What do you need," I asked.
"I just wanted to tell you, I think he is the one," Dad said.
"Really," I
"Yep," Dad smiled.
"Well, Alex, James and Liam don't think so," I confessed.
"What do you mean," Dad asked.
"Just with everything that has happened," I said.
"Well don;t worry about it," Dad said.
"Huh," I said, confused.
"Everything that your mom has done doesn't make me stop loving her," Dad said.
"That's true, but do you know why they are so against Dom," I asked.
"I sadly don't know," Dad said.
"It's ok," I smiled.
The two of us walked back to the living room and saw Dom watching the triplets. I walked over to him before helping the three of them. I sat down next to Dom and noticed Liam watching from the far. He was still upset after everything, but mostly that his kids chose Dom to be their uncle. After a couple of days, Christmas had arrived, and I woke up next to Dom. He started to wake up slowly.

"Good morning," I whispered.

"Good morning to you too," Dom smiled.

"Are you ready to go down there," I asked.

"Yeah, but giving me a sec before we do," Dom said,

I nodded my head and waited for him.We both got up and started to head downstairs. I noticed my nieces and nephews running around downstairs as they waited for us. I walk over to where everyone is.

"Good morning to you two," Mom said.

"Good morning, mom," I said.

"Did you two sleep well," Mom said.

"I do. Did you Dom," I asked.

"Yes, but I'm happy that I'm not jet lagged," Dom laughed.

"That's at least and might not help that you keep traveling for work," Mom said.

"Yep, but I'm ready for this break," Dom said.

"I get that," Mom smiled.

Dad called all of us for breakfast before we opened the present. We all enjoyed our meal before the kids took off to the living room. We all took out spots before opening presents, The kids went first before us. They opened some of their gifts before the rest of us got a chance to open ours. Mom gave me one of mine before my brothers got one of theirs. I opened up to see gear boots that my mom once wore.

"I thought you might need them for a rumble," Mom smiled.

"Thanks, and I will wear them with honor," I said.

We continued to open gifts and enjoyed being in each other's company. All of us finished opening the gifts. Mom and dad looked at me and Dom while motioning for us to come. We both stood up and walked towards them. They pulled us into another room before I could say something to them.

"What's up," I said.

"We got two more gifts for you guys," Mom smiled.

She handed Dom the one. He opened it to reveal a picture inside of it.

"I know it might be weird too, but I thought you might want it," Mom said.

"It's not weird whatsoever," Dom smiled.

The picture was of my mom and Eddie together. It was one of the last pictures that my mom took with him.

"Besides your part of the family, I thought you might want it," Mom said.

"Thanks, and I love it," Dom smiled.

The two of them hugged before breaking it up. My dad handed me mine and let me open it. I opened it to see a bunch of things that will remind me of my home.

"I thought it would help you feel closer to home," Dad said.

"Thanks, and it will help," I said.

"Besides, there was one more thing that couldn't fit," Dad smiled.

He handed me a stuffed animal. I grabbed it out of his hands and hugged it.

"This will help when you miss me since you're a daddy's girl," Dad said.

"She loves both of us," Mom said.

"Are you sure about that because she takes after me," Dad questioned.

"She takes after both of us," Mom said.

The two of them kept talking about who I loved more and etc. Me and Dom just looked at them as they continued to go back and forth about it.

"Guys, I love you guys, equality," I stated.

"Ha, she loves both of us," Mom said.

My dad shaked his head while grabbing the last present.

"This gift is for the both of you," Dad said.

He handed us the last gift. We started to open it and reveal new gear for us to wear.

"You guys can wear this gear anytime, and it doesn't have to be for the rumble," Mom said.

"Oh, well, also hope it fits right on the two of you guys," Mom added.

"They look like they will," I said.

My new gear looked black with hints of dark blue throughout it. While having very little bit of purple on it. Dom's gear was fully black with stripes of purple throughout it. We hugged them and told them thanks for everything. The rest of the Christmas was very nice while I got to hang out with my family.
