Chapter twenty-two: Painful

The next two weeks were hell for Hailey, Liv wasn't leaving Dom alone, which led him to become somewhat distant from each other. She was attacked by the Wyatt Sicks, but she didn't know why they targeted her. Hailey never betrayed anyone until it hit her. She betrayed the judgment day and her uncle. What made matters worse is that Dom wasn't even at the hospital after the attack. Maybe her brothers were right about him. Does he really love her or not? She was starting to doubt their relationship. Hailey was starting to get flashbacks to her past relationship. Her ex-boyfriend was always known to get ladies' attention. Hailey would just watch as another woman touched her boyfriend. Till that point, her ex started to lose interest in her. She was left heartbroken for weeks.

"Hailey," Lydia said.

Hailey snapped out of her thoughts as a tear ran down her face.

"Yeah," Hailey said.

"Are you ok," Lydia asked.

"Yeah, and I should go to cut my promo now," Hailey weakly smiled.

Hailey grabbed her title and walked out of the locker room. While walking, she tried so hard not to cry when passing people. Before stepping out in front of the fans, she took a deep breath and refocused her mind. Her music hit, and it was time to go out there. The Miz was still sitting out there with Michael Cole. Hailey was alone for her promo, but there was something she didn't know was about to happen. While she was cutting her promo, the lights started to go off. Music started to ring out through the arena as three spotlights appeared. One on Hailey, a second one on Uncle Howdy, and lastly, the one on Abby the witch. Uncle Howdy started to make his way to the ring, Hailey just stood there as she waited for him. Uncle Howdy wanted to talk to Hailey face to face but with no mic.

"Oh Hailey, I see the way you are now. I see the pain and hurt in your eyes but also rage at the same time. There is a different kind of darkness in you, but you are afraid to let it out," Uncle Howdy said.

Hailey didn't say anything because she knew he was right.

"I will deal with you. My deal to you is that Abby will be by your side and help you with anything, but it's up to you," He said.

Hailey and the others want to change their group name and embrace a new darkness with them. Before the lights went out again, Hailey whispered a deal to him. Hailey was greeted by Damian backstage.

"Hailey, we need to talk somewhere private," Damian said.

She nodded her head as they walked to an open room. Damian closed the door and took a deep breath.

"Listen, I want you to know this before anyone tells you this. Liv sent Dom a nude when I was comforting him about stuff. The others saw it too, and I'm sorry, Hailey," Damian spoke.

Hailey started to see her world cracking but soon got replaced with rage. Damian pulled her into a hug. Even though they were "enemies," he wanted to comfort her. She accepted his hug as she cried into his chest. Damian couldn't think of how much pain Hailey was in. Once the hug broke, Hailey punched the closer thing on the wall. The glass shutter, she almost could see the memories of her and Dom in those pieces of glass. People rushed in after hearing something breaking. Hailey was walked to medical to have her fist looked at. She walked past Alpha Academy, Sami, Jey, Seth, Jd, Finn  damage control, and Valkyria. They all had worried looks on their face as blood was running down her hand. When they arrived at medical, they took a look at her hand.

"You are lucky that it is not a deep cut, Hailey," Doctor said.

"I'm going to wrap your hand and take it easy for the rest of the night," Doctor added.

Hailey walked out and walked to the locker room. Once she walked in, there was a smile on her face.

"Listen, it's time we change our group name and how we look because it's time that we run Monday night raw. We dethrone the judgment day as being the most dominant function on raw. So what do you say Emma should we call for back that might help," Hailey smiled.

Emma and Lydia both agreed throughout the ideas. Emma suggested going back to when her and Hailey wicked ways back in the indies. Hailey loved that idea while they explained it to Lydia while she was on board, too. Emma grabbed her phone to make a call to their old friend. Hailey smiled at the idea of taking over Raw while having help with the Wyatt Sicks. Dom will make sure not to double cross Hailey ever after what he is going to witness next week.
