Judgment and Fate

chapter five: everything goes wrong

Dom Pov
It was the night of the deadline, I was nervous because no one from the judgment day was there. I was defending my title against Dragon Lee next. I walked out to the ring and was ready for the match. The match started to go off strong with me at the start of the match. Throughout the match, I had the upper hand until the very end. I was hit with a ddt and lost my belt. I was angry until I saw Dragon Lee hug my dad and how proud he looked. I stormed backstage until I got an interview. I expressed my anger with everyone. I stormed outside to the car. I opened the door and sat inside before I let out a scream while tears were streaming down my face.
No one POV
"Sir Dominik's stuff is still here, and people have hard screaming in the park lot,"
"Thanks, and I will check that out," Shawn said.
Shawn went into the locker room and saw some of the guys still in there. I went over to where Dominik's stuff was at. Shawn saw that everything was still a mess and that it hadn't been touched. He grabbed his stuff and left the locker room. Shawn got stopped by Rey and Dragon Lee.
"Congrats on winning the title," Shawn smiled.
"Thanks," Dragon said.
"Is that Dom's stuff," Rey asked.
"Yeah, and nobody knows what happened to him, so I'm going to look in the parking lot," Shawn said.
Rey nodded his head while Shawn walked away from them. He walked outside when he saw Hailey walking over to the driver side of the car.
"Hailey," Shawn cleared his throat.
"I see you got Dom's stuff," Hailey said.
"Yeah, and he is ok," Shawn said.
"Oh yeah, he's fine," Hailey lied.
"Ok, well, here is his stuff," Shawn said.
"Thanks," hailey said.
Shawn nodded his head and started to walk back.
Hailey pov
After I got the call from Dom while I was at dinner with Emma. She dropped me off at the arena. I'm glad that I got there just in time. I finished putting his stuff into the car. I drove to the hotel while Dom listened to the music to help him calm down. When we arrived, I grabbed his stuff as he opened the door to our room.
"I will get the shower started," I said.
"Ok," Dom said.
I started the shower, and I got it ready for Dom to help relax him.
"Shower is ready," I said.
Dom nodded his head and headed into the bathroom.I waited for him while I stepped up the tv and got some snacks out. I grabbed one of my stuffed animals from my bag. Dom came out of the bathroom fully dressed in his pjs. He made his way to the bed but smiled at me. He sat down on the bed while I gave him the stuffed animal that I had brought.
"It feels like yesterday we were doing this," Dom smiled.
"It does," I smiled back.
Flashback
When we got home, I told Dom that I would meet him in his bedroom. I grabbed some snacks and headed up there. I knocked on the door to see Dominik having tears coming down his face. I closed the door and went over to him, handed him a snack. I gave him a hug, which led Dom to cry harder. I started to rub his back to help him calm down.
"Can I tell you something," I said.
"Yeah.. What is...It," Dom cried.
"The feeling that I got earlier, I got that same feeling when you walked out there," I said.
Dominik let go of the hug and stared at me with tears in his eyes. It took a minute before he spoke.
"That's-That's a lot to take in," Dom said.
I smiled before putting on a show to help take Dominik's mind off everything. I kinda felt bad about everything that happened. I try my best to help him like he does with me. I looked over to see Dom watching the TV very intensely. I shift my focus back to the Tv. After some time now, I noticed Dominik had fallen asleep. I quietly grabbed everything and turned off the tv. Before turning off the light, I grabbed one of my stuffed animals that helped with my nightmares and gave one to Dom for the night.
That memory is the night that Dom smack talked his dad into having a match at wrestlemania. I remember that night very clearly and when he also helped me with my nightmares. I'm thankful I don't get them anymore.
"You good over there," Dom asked.
"Yeah, and I was thinking about the old times with us," I smiled.
"I got that, and I was just making sure you were ok," Dom said.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said.
Dom nodded his head while he looked back towards the TV. After some time, Dom had fallen asleep, so I cleaned up our mess before heading off to sleep. When I headed to bed, I saw Dom still holding my stuffed animal. I smiled at him before drifting off to sleep. When I woke up, Dom was still asleep peacefully. I got ready for the day before Dom and Dom headed off back home. I got our things together and sat them by the door. I, of course, put clothes out for him in the bathroom.
Dom Pov
I slightly opened my eyes to notice that the bed was empty, but mostly the room was packed up. I felt the bed dip down, and I slowly turned to face Hailey.
"Good morning Hermosa," I said.
"Good morning," Hailey smiled.
"What are you doing," I asked.
"Looking on social media and have you seen it," Hailey asked.
"No, why?" I questioned.
"Look," Hailey said.
She handed me her phone. Almost immediately, I saw everything that happened last night. I grew angry at what everyone was saying. I felt Hailey rub my arm to calm me down until I saw everyone else post about how well I did this year. I even saw the post that Jane made for me. I smiled at it while reading the rest of the post. After reading those posts, I got up to get ready to go home for the week. I got dressed and finished packing. We left the hotel and drove to the airport for our flight. I saw everyone at the airport, Hailey grabbed my arm when she saw my dad. She dragged me away from everyone so that nothing could happen. We sat away from everyone so that they couldn't do anything or say something to us. We got called to the flight and took our seats when my dad and Dragon Lee came by, which led to a comment being said. I was about to get up, but Hailey put her arm around me. I calm back down before anything else happens. We took off to head back home, and then soon enough, we landed.
"Do you want to stay at my house instead of going to aunts," I asked.
"I would love to. I need a break from my cousins," Hailey smiled.
"I get that, and I would love for you to see where I live," I smiled.
"Love your jokes, but that just sounded really creepy," Hailey laughed.
The flight landed, and we headed to my house. When we arrived at my house, Hailey was shocked when she saw my house.
"Are you sure that you live in," Hailey gasped.
"Yes, and now come on in," I said, taking her hand.
We walked into the house, and Hailey's eyes lit up as we walked through the house. The house was kinda old but kinda new. We finished in the living room after I gave the tour of the house.
"What do you think about it," I asked.
"I love it, and it's much different from my aunt's house," Hailey said.
I gave her a smile as she continued to look around.
