I knew Sid would be here.

Matagal na ang invitation na 'to.

It was way before she broke up with me.

Knowing her, she wouldn't cancel the invitation because not only does she likes Tita Marga but because she always kept her word.

It was one of the things I like about her.

I was hoping that just this once, she wouldn't honor it but it was like wishing for the sun not to rise and to set.

Kahit hinanda ko na ang sarili ko sa possibility na darating siya, seeing her after months of not hearing anything from her still made me feel uneasy.

She still had that warm smile and it was one of the first things I noticed when I met her at Kevin's birthday party years ago.

It was the same smile that was on her face when she waved hello.

I have to admit.

Sid still looked gorgeous as ever.

But her eyes immediately went to Brad.

Pinakilala ko siya sa lahat knowing it would be easier rather than introducing him to Sid first.

There was a chorus of hi's and hello's.

I notice the interested looks that Tracy friends gave him.

Hindi ko naman sila masisi.

Brad towered at six feet tall.

He was also built like a wall.

Tiningnan niya kami.

Fuck.

She did not just ask me that.

"Opo, Tita. No problem," I forced a smile.

This was going to be a big problem.

I looked at Sid who was as confused as I am.

"I said it's fine," I said with a force that made everyone look at me.

"No problem, Tita."

I excused myself and went upstairs.
