One school day, Huening Kai and Yeonjun were sitting at the lunch table waiting for everyone else to join them. Yeonjun was eating almonds that he filled inside a ziplock bag from home while Huening Kai was intently reading something.
"You want one?" Yeonjun polietly offers, holding out the bag.
Huening Kai briefly glances at the nuts "no i'm allergic"
"Oh.." Yeonjun pulls the bag back "so what?"
Kai looks at his friend with bored eyes "I'll die" he dead panned
"Eating almonds?"
"Yes"
Yeonjun raises a brow wondering if Kai is being truthful or not "Let me see, eat one"
"NO"
"WHY?"
"IM. ALLERGIC."
"Hey guys" Beomgyu greets when he and Taehyun arrive to the table.
"Hey" Yeonjun smiles and Huening Kai greets them with a quick peace sign, never taking his eyes off the book.
"What are you reading, Kai?" Beomgyu asks curiously as he takes a seat next to his friend to be nosey and look at the book. It was a picture of the engine of a car with paragraphs around it.
"I'm j-just doing some research in case we ever end up stranded again." Huening Kai unnecessarily explained himself. His cheeks tinting ever so pink, you'd only be able to notice of you were right next to him like Beomgyu. Our maim character smiles sweetly.
"My brother can show you too! He has a mechanic shop, It would be a bigger help to actually get hands on experience right?"
"R-really?" Aside from the time at the south district; the last time that Kai worked on a car was when he changed his Dad's oil. He did it in record time but unfortunately he got some oil on the garage floors and stained the floors, since then his dad had banned him from being able to touch another car.
"Yeah! You guys can come too if you want" Beomgyu offers
"Thanks cutie but I have to finish the photoshoot I bailed on yesterday" Taehyun winks
"And I have practice after school! Homecoming is soon!" Yeonjun says
"Well I guess it will just be us two kai!" Beomgyu looks back to Kai, who is sitting excited, stars in his eyes and a nervous straight mouth.
"Yo yo" HongJoong, Aisha and Yiren join the group next and taking their seats at the table. By this point their lunch table was so packed thay everyone had to sit shoulder to shoulder. Beomgyu worries how Soobin will fit when he comes back.
"Aisha what's wrong?!" Beomgyu asks worried, seeing as Aisha had been crying and Yiren was comforting her.
"Don't bother. Her and her boyfriend broke up again" Hongjoong sighs before taking a drink from his pink milk.
"You're so insensitive! How could you be so nonchalant about this" Yiren scolds him.
"She's the the one that broke up with him, just she did last week and the month before"
