"Hi." It's amazing how fast Beomgyu sobers up. Soobins pale skin, and dark eyes under the warm lights cause his heart to pick up pace.
He wasn't sure what he was feeling-or what he should feel. Angry? Confused? Happy? Scared?
Soobin laughs, nervously tugging at the collar of his shirt. He tries to say something, but the spit inside his mouth seems to dry up. He licks his lips. All he can do is smile.
Beomgyu is angry at Soobin for disappearing without a word. He was confused as to why the boy was here now, just as sudden as when he left.
He's happy that Soobin is still here, smiling. Though he can easily spot the sad eyes on the dark eyed boy.
"W-where were you?" It had been months since Beomgyu lost his stutter, but now it made an appearance.
"I... uh... don't want to talk about that right now." Soobin presses his lips together after shutting down the question. This made Beomgyu's eyebrows furrow.
"What do you mean? You don't tell me when you leave, or when you're coming back; now you can't even tell me why? Why are you doing that to me, Soobin?!" Beomgyu feels his face burning. He needs air. It's too hot in here.
He dodges away from Soobin, out of the exit, and runs into the parking lot. That farther into the dark he gets, the more he can breathe. It was suffocating.
Beomgyu finally stops; still in the parking lot, but hidden in the cars.
Hes asking himself why he did that? He has to go back eventually. He feels like such a coward.
When Soobin left, there were so many mixed feelings, and they only got more complicated as time passed.
"Beomgyu?" Soobin had followed him
"Yeah?" Beomgyu is leaning against the hood of a car, his gaze staring down at his untied shoe laces. It's a miracle he didn't trip over them while running away.
He could hear footsteps on the gravel getting closer to him. Soobins shoes come into his view shortly after, standing right in front of him.
Then, he takes Beomgyus right hand into his own opposite one and presses it to his cheek. This action makes Beomgyu tear his arm back.
"W-what-" He catches himself, stuttering again, and it pissed him off. "WHAT are you doing! Seriously! Am i some kind of game to you?!"
"What the fuck, no" Soobin looks offended that Beomgyu would suggest such a thing.
"Why do you look so sad, Soobin? what happened?"
Soobin sighs and grabs Beomgyus hand once more "Its not that I don't want to tell you. it's just not the right place. I promise I will tell you, just not right now." They lock eyes, and neither one can look away until Soobin does-momentarily; his gaze falls to Beomgyus lips and then back to his eyes. Slowly, he begins to lean forward. Soobin was inches away when Beomgyu turned his head.
"I have a date with Taehyun tomorrow"
Soobin freezes in shock before leaning back.
"O-oh? Are you dating?"
"I've never really dated before... I don't think so? Yet?"
"Yet?" Soobin raises a brow.
"Are you mad at me?" Beomgyu had only asked because of the look in his face. His dark eyes had an icy glare with his jaw locked like a door.
"Not at you, no."
Back at the building, Hongjoong runs out through the entrance doors and into the parking lot. He stops a few cars in front of soobin and Beomgyu, where he begins puking his guts out. Yeonjun was close behind to keep an eye on his friend.
