Beomgyu was assigned to manage the floats. Wood was needed for this obviously so Beomgyu wanted to help out by bringing some wood over to the students who were building to save them some energy.

But, the wood was too heavy for Beomgyu. He tried his best though and pulled on the wood. Eventually he lost his grip and thankfully his already bandaged fingers prevented him from anymore injury on his fingers, although the blonde did fall back on his bottom.

Soobin and Taehyun were watching the whole time. Taehyun thought it was cute watching Beomgyu struggle while Soobin was waiting for the right time to intervene. After Beomgyu fell they went over and lifted the wood over their shoulders effortlessly.

"Wow you two are so strong! Thank you so much!" This boosted their egos a tad bit much.

"You know you can always ask us for help cutie, thats what we're here for" Taehyun pats Beomgyus head like a little dog.

"Where do we take these?" Soobin asks

"Over here! Follow me!" It was a strange but cute sight really. The schools bad boy and flirt following after a kind hearted clueless boy.

"thanks a lot!" The students were happy at the kind gesture, making Beomgyu feel good- and also satisfying Taehyun and Soobin.

Then the blonde noticed Yerin squatted down on the ground with her face in her hands. Our protagonist goes over to her.

"What's wrong Yerin?" Beomgyu asks. The pretty girl looks up with tears in her eyes. She looks away embarrassed.

"Nothing." She huffs.

"Is it okay if I talk to her alone?" Beomgyu turns to his friends. Taehyun and Soobin share a look and shrug their shoulders.

"Call is if you need us cutie" Taehyun runs his fingers through Beomgyus soft hair and winks. When they are gone Beomgyu squats down in front of Yerin.

Why would such a pretty girl be crying? Ah, Beomgyu thinks it must be a break up. What else could be the reason? It must have been pretty bad.

"Y-you're too good f-for him" Beomgyu stutters out. Yerin looks at him with a raised brow.

"What are you talking about?"

"Y-your ex boyfriend! My b-brother told me if someone m-makes you cry more than once then you're better off without them. I-I've never experienced a break up but e-even I know that your worth is more.." Yerin laughs.

"I didn't have a break up Gyu" she wipes her eyes and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.

"O-OH" the blondes face reddens in embarrassment "I-I'm s-sorry I just saw you c-crying and assumed.."

"I was crying because I was mad not sad. None of my classmates take me seriously which sucks because it's part of my grade, plus I really want the parade to turn out good..." Yerin looks at Beomgyu "..we're the same you know"

"How?"

"Nobody takes us serious because of our looks. It's bullshit really." Beomgyu understood what Yerin means. He feels bad because he knows she's trying her best, she just needs some help. Which is exactly why he's here.

Beomgyu stands up and pulls Yerin up by her wrist.

"Where are we going?" She asks

"To ask for help!"

"Hey pass it over here!" A boy calls over to his friend who was holding a round lantern. His friend was getting ready to toss it when Huening Kai pops up.
