Everyone had something to do after school; Yeonjun had basketball practice, Beomgyu has to help his brother with some errands, Taehyun has art club, Soobin had to take a nap, and Huening Kai, well-
"Do it again" his dad says coldly.
"W-what?" Huening Kai is trying catch his breath from the intense dance he just did "that's was p-perfect though!"
"No, it wasn't " his dad sits up from his chair and circles his son, he's not his dad right now, he's judging Kai right down to the misplaced hair on his head. "your right leg needed to be more bent in the beginning and I didn't like your facial expressions towards the end"
"But I'm so tired" Huening Kai clenches his fists.
"You've only been practicing for 2 hours yet your sister practices up to 18 hours.
"Well dad, unlike my sister, I'm still a normal teenager. I have other things to worry about- like failing math" his dad scoffs
"I already told you we could enter you into an arts school where you could practice all day and still graduate high school"
"Except, it's not actually high school, it's a boot camp for perfection. No thanks."
"Youre never going to come close to the family legacy with the amount of effort you're giving. Just because I own the company doesn't mean you're allowed to be lazy and still expect to debut. I'm so disappointed in you."
The words caused Huening Kais upper lip to curl up. The words cut deep.
The boy turns around and grabs his bag and storms out.
"HUENING KAI WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING"
"I have normal things to do right now" The boy smiles sweetly right before shutting the door behind him. He's rushing as fast as he can, no longer wanting to se the marble flooring or the inspirational quotes.
He bumps shoulders with someone, the person grabbing him to a halt.

"Woah, what are you in such a rush for?" The woman asks him.
"Ugh you're the last person I wanted to see" he tries to pull away from her grasp but it only tightens.
"Huening Kai I'm hurt! It's been so long since I've seen my dear baby brother"
"I can't say the same" Her face was on every billboard and TV commercial.
"Irene we're running on a schedule" Her manager steps in but Irene doesn't pay any mind.
"Why are you mad?"
"Ask dad, you're his favorite child after all"
"Kai that's not true!" Kai gets an incoming call.
Beomgyu is calling!
"It kind of is, but no worries, you're more suited for that label then me. I gotta go now or else I'll fail math." He winks and throws up a peace sign and is running off again. Irene watches her brother go down the hall and takes a left. Seconds later their father appears.
