As the plane touched down, Lucas slipped his sweatshirt off over his head. He wouldn't need it anymore.
"Are we in Aruba now?" Sawyer asked from the seat next to him.
"You bet we are, baby," Lucas smiled down at her.
Sawyer leaned over her sister to get a look out the window. Everything was 'normal' size again, rather than everything being so small from above.
"I hope it's warm out!" Ellie smiled.
"It will be, kid. We left the cool air at home," Lucas said, unbuckling his seatbelt and standing up. He opened the overhead bin and lowered their small carryon suitcase to his seat. He then turned around and put his hand on his wife's shoulder.
"Peyton... we're here."
Peytons head rose from it's tilted, uncomfortable position against her own shoulder and took a breath.
"Really?" She asked as she unbuckled her seatbelt.
A Welcome to Aruba sign adorned above the escalator down to baggage claim and while peyton took a bathroom break, Lucas and the two girls waited for their suitcases to appear on the conveyer belt.
"Hey! I wanted to get that one!" Sawyer wined Lucas shook his head. "It doesn't matter, girls."
Despite the 8 year age gap They were always in competition of some kind, when they were together
"Ready to go?" Peyton asked joining them Lucas looked to the three suitcases they had.
"We're still missing one." He said
Peyton counted. She saw Lucas', Ellie's, and Sawyers smaller one... but not hers.
"Oh don't even tell me...!" Peytons hands made fists. It would be her luck.
"I got it!" Sawyer said as she tried to pull the heavy suitcase off the belt, almost taking a woman out in the process.
Peyton let out a sigh of relief as Lucas grabbed the bag.
"Oh.. no. This isn't it. It looks like it though." Lucas sighed putting it back on the belt.
"You're kidding!" Peyton sighed. After twenty minutes, all but a few bags were gone and Payton's never surfaced.
Lucas came back from the service desk and said he filled out a missing bag report. There was nothing more the airport could do now.
"It's gunna be okay, Mama. I'll share my dresses." Sawyer told her
"I think your clothes are a little too small for Peyton, Sawyer," Ellie states in a DUH sort of tone.
"It's alright. We'll buy you anything you need. Don't worry about it. We'll get your stuff back soon enough." Lucas reassured
She had one outfit in the carry-on, and thankfully and one bathing suit, too. And like Lucas said, they'd buys stuff.
She looked down to the sundress and jacket she was wearing. She figured she'd be wearing it a bit this vacation.
As annoying as this was, it wasn't the worst. And she had to look on the bright side. She was on vacation with her three favourite people. And things could only go up from here.

"Let's go swimming!" Ellie says immediately upon arriving at the hotel.
"Cool it, El Scott. We've got plenty of time to do everything you want." Lucas tells her
"Oh come on! Can't I go by myself?" She asked. "I'm not a baby anymore," she was 11 now.
"You don't even know where the pool is." Peyton shook her head.
