DarkStalker had returned with BrightMoon and Hail after talking to them, their wings beating steadily as they walked back to their respective places. As they settled down, Hail couldn't help but voice his curiosity: "Did we miss anything important?" "Well," North replied, "other than the fact that DarkStalker will take care of any threats inside and outside of Pyrrhia, no, you didn't miss much." The royal dragons all bowed to North as they departed. However, BrightMoon approached DarkStalker with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. "DarkStalker," she said, her voice filled with eagerness, "could you introduce me and Hail to your dragonets someday?" DarkStalker smiled kindly at her request. "Of course," he replied. He gently touched his crown, feeling the weight of his responsibilities. "NightWatcher is destined to be my successor, and he will have to marry his sister, NightGazer," he explained, as he delicately caressed the Sapphire and Opalite crowns in his claws. BrightMoon nodded, her heart filled with anticipation, before she joined Hail and spread her wings to depart. "Thank you, DarkStalker," she called out warmly before leaving. DarkStalker watched them go, a soft smile playing on his lips. "What absolute sweethearts they are," he whispered to himself. But then, his attention turned towards North, who seemed lost in thought. "Hmmm," North began, his voice tinged with a shudder of memories. "Sahara saved my life with Dragonfruit before Snowfall could harm me." DarkStalker hissed softly, his eyes narrowing with disdain. "Queen Glacier's daughter. I never understood how you could speak favorably of the IceWings, considering your own tribe's history." North sighed heavily, his icy breath swirling in the air. "When I used to visit Glacier and Snowfall with my brothers, I would witness their disdain for them. They would hiss and glower until I took my place in line, and only then would they act politely. They were terrible queens, DarkStalker, and their actions were inexcusable." DarkStalker pondered North's words, his mind swirling with conflicting thoughts. He waved a farewell with his tail as North flew towards his throne room, leaving him alone with his thoughts. As DarkStalker soared towards the kingdom of Night, his creativity surged within him. He knew that the future held promise and uncertainty, but for now, he embraced the possibilities that lay ahead.
