Socializing, shouldn't be too bad, right?
Because of our seating arrangements and our method of grouping, I rarely get grouped with Wayde, or Laine, or Ace, or even Inah.
I get grouped with Jeff and Maria though.
Don't get me wrong, Jeff as a friend is an absolute slay, but having him as a member is a total pain in the butt.
Even after exams, we still have some performance tasks to complete on some subjects, like our science presentation.
Literally the first day of the week and I already have to be doing presentations, geez.
Recently, I've been trying my best to be more rather chill. But that's not happening. Not Ivy Morales. I'm not going to let my grades go downhill because some people aren't doing what they're supposed to properly.
I've been trying to be chill around Wayde too, but that's not happening either.
So I do what I always do, find every opportunity to talk to Wayde and take them. He may think I'm weird at some point, but at least I'm nothing compared to the elementary simps he has.
It's easy to know everyone's grade level, pink checkered skirts are elementary, maroon is for highschool.
As I was walking to the canteen for recess, I notice a lot of elementary girls approaching my way. "Ate [ah-teh, older girl or sister.] Ivy!" they call for me. I stop in my tracks as they hand me a few envelopes, letters?
"What's this?" I ask, looking down at them. "Letters, for kuya [older boy or brother] Wayde. Can you please give these to him?" One of the girls, Aimee, asks me.
"Who are these from? You guys?"
"Opo. [Yes.]"
"Okay, I'll give these to him." I smile, taking the letters from them. A lot of effort seems to be put in decorating these too. "Yay! Thank you ate!" They smile and giggle as they ran off.
As promised, I walked over to our classroom with the letters in my hand and went to Wayde to give them.
He looks up at me as he was sitting in his seat. "Huh?"
"These are for you. The elementary girls told me to give them to you." I state quickly before he assumes they're from me. "Ah, okay, thanks." He takes them from me and shuffles them to take a look at each one. There were four letters given to him, all designed similarly with pink glitter hearts on the envelope.
"Awh, those look really pretty." I comment looking down at the letters he's holding. "I'll read them later." He chuckles as he runs his fingers through his hair.
Next week, us girls are staying home to do modules while the boys are out there having fun at boy's scout. They're going to be sleeping here at campus this Thursday, so that Friday in the morning all the BSP from our school can travel together first thing in the morning to set up camp at another school.
The school didn't get informed they also had Girls' scout so we got left out.
I cannot imagine Wayde doing the stuff they do at BSP camp though. That perfect face, perfect skin? Getting muddy and such? No way am I going to imagine that.
But there's this one thing that ruins my reputation for Wayde, our friend Patricia.
It's almost the end of the day, me and my group just got finished with our presentation in science about Climate Change. It was Laine's group next. One of her members just so happened to be Wayde.
Their topic was about Air Pollution. We were all required to wear formal attire. I changed into black slacks and a white top with a dark green blazer. Laine wore a black office dress.
