"Let me take you on a date," Jimin says.

"What?" I quickly check that the hallway is empty. What is he even saying right now? Is he crazy?

"C'mon just you and me."

"I dunno Jimin. I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why not?"

"Well..." I look around again "We're technically work colleagues now."

"So?"

"So? So what if we get caught!" I jolt and worry someone has heard me but no one comes down the hallway. I sigh "Look, it might not affect your job but it will most definitely affect mine."

"Then..." He holds my hand "We'll be careful."

"Jimin..."

"Please Layla, for me?"

I guess...one date won't hurt. Heck, I might even have fun. "Okay fine."

...

"This is a really weird place to meet."

After exchanging phone numbers Jimin texted me that he would pick me up on the 4th level of a random parking complex. This is how people get murdered. I'll be front page news tomorrow. I look around. And it's dark and there are no other cars around which means I'm completely alone. Perfect murder spot.

I shake myself out of my thoughts. Obviously, he doesn't want to meet somewhere public, he's a celebrity!

Suddenly a black Range Rover with tinted windows drives up the ramp onto the fourth level, it turns the corner and blinds me with its headlights. I raise my hand to cover my eyes and the car parks in the spot in front of me and switches the engine off. "Jimin?" I cautiously call out.

The driver's side door opens and a man wearing a baseball cap and mask jumps out. He looks at me and pulls down his mask "Yo, Layla." He waves. It's Jimin.

I sigh "You almost gave me a freakin' heart attack."

"Sorry, I guess I do look a bit suspicious."

"A bit?" He laughs and opens up the passenger door for me. I hop in and he starts the engine. "So where are we going?"

"It's a secret." He winks.

"Lame."

"Hey, it's not lame!"

"Pfft." I laugh. "I was only joking."

Jimin pouts and we leave the parking complex "Hmm okay then, how about a hint?"

"The sea."

"The beach? Wait You're not planning on driving there now are you?" He nods. "But isn't it like an hour's drive away?"

"Well since it's the evening now it should only take forty-five minutes tops but um...I thought since we met on a beach it would be nice to have our first date on the beach as well..." He rubs the back of his neck with his hand "Is that too corny?" His cheeks turn pink.

I laugh "No, I think it's just the right amount."

...

We arrive at a small pebble beach, the sea is calm and at low tide. Street lights illuminate the small car park but the only car here is ours, I guess that's to be expected as no one else would go to a beach at night. I step out of the car and the light breeze blows through my hair and a small shiver goes up my spine. "Wow, the sea looks so nice!"

Warmth envelopes my shoulders and I turn my head to see Jimin wrapping a blanket around me "T-thanks." I smile.

I follow Jimin to the trunk and he opens it "We're having a picnic?"
