Chapter 25: Mistake

Jimin POV

"Hey Jimin," Han-Wool drapes his arm over my shoulders "You never told us you got a girlfriend."

"What?" I whip my head to look at him. How does he know? Did Hobi tell them? Maybe one of Layla's friends accidentally let it slip?

"Hey, you shouldn't pry into another actor's life," Ha-Yoon says while the makeup artist applies blush to her skin. "We get enough of that from the paparazzi and social media."

"You don't believe those photos do you?" Man-Shik says. "They've been doctored, that's why you can't see the woman's face. Cuz there is no woman!"

Oh, they're talking about the photos...phew okay.

Man-Shik walks over to me and pats my shoulder "Don't worry Jimin, I've got your back."

"Oi, why is everyone making me sound like the bad guy here?" Han-Wool says dramatically. "I just want to know how you managed to bag her."

"Jeong Han-Wool!" Ha-Yoon stands abruptly from her chair glaring at Han-Wool through the mirror.

Han-Wool flinches and I step away to face him "Bag who?"

"Esther Lee."

The room falls silent.

Bag Esther Lee? What on earth is he talking about?

I stare at Han-Wool in confusion.

Ha-Yoon walks over and smacks the back of Han-Wool's head. "Hey!" He rubs his head.

"What nonsense are you spouting? I don't think Esther would appreciate you spreading baseless lies around." Ha-Yoon scolds.

"She's right, you shouldn't make stuff up like that," Man-Shik says.

"I'm not making it up, look!" Han-Wool pulls his phone out to show a video of me and Esther kissing in front of the Parka House Restaurant.

Shit.

I yank Han-Wool's phone out of his hand and watch the five-second video again. How did someone record this? It wasn't until after that the paparazzi came and started flashing us with their cameras. What the hell is going on?

I scroll past the video and see a news article link attached to the video. I click it.

BREAKING NEWS: PARK JIMIN AND ESTHER LEE DATING SCANDAL

It seems everyone's speculations are correct in the fact that Park Jimin does have a girlfriend and it is none other than award-winning actress Esther Lee.

One month prior, an anonymous photographer released photos of Park Jimin and an unidentified female on social media. For weeks the public has been scratching their heads as to the authenticity of the photos and who Park Jimin's possible girlfriend could be. With little input from Park Jimin's company Mochi Entertainment, there has been nothing to confirm the rumours, until last night!

At 10:25 PM last night actors Park Jimin and Esther Lee were seen together leaving the Parka House Restaurant and kissing shortly after. Paparazzi appeared to snap photos of the lovely couple and Park Jimin was seen shielding Esther Lee away from the Paparazzi and back inside the restaurant, chivalry isn't dead yet! Below is the video.

What the fuck.

"Hey Jimin, are you okay?" Ha-Yoon asks.

I quickly look to face them all "It's...not true." I say quietly.

"Jimin-" I thrust Han-Wool's phone back into his hand and frantically put my hands in my pockets.
