Where she dreams is a mystery to me

It's private and secluded so no one can see

She will dream in her bed, sound asleep with her pillows

In her dream she dances through a forest of willows

She will dream with her feet as she floats across the stage

Her name and pictures are posted on the front page

She will dream while she is flying on a jet plane at night

She watches the moon begin its ascent in the flight

She can dream when she's alone

Or when someone else is home

Vividly they appear

All these dreams much too clear

She keeps them to herself and hides away her tears

Because some of the dreams depict her deepest fears

She wakes up in the morning sometimes out of breath

It was all just a dream, there's nothing now that's left

Where she dreams is a mystery to me

We will never know what those images could be
