The weeks passed, and the break with Taylor seemed to stretch out in time, filling each day with moments of introspection and deep reflection. You had spent a lot of time trying to understand your own emotions and untangle the tensions that had begun to form around you.

Meanwhile, Elliott continued to interfere in your life, becoming more and more present. The meetings at your house were regular, and the conversations. Although you were trying to keep your emotions under control, it was hard to deny the growing bond between you and him.

One afternoon, while you were comfortably at home with Elliott, you enjoy the tranquility of this space. The sun's rays filtering through the curtains created a soft and soothing atmosphere.

Elliott was sipping his drink, watching the little details of your apartment.

Elliott: "It's really nice here, y/n. It feels good at home.

You smile at him, grateful for his compliment.

Y/n: "I'm glad you feel comfortable. Make yourself at home."

The conversation was effortless, each exchange becoming a mutual exploration of your tastes, dreams and experiences. Despite all the underlying tensions, it was undeniable that you shared a deep connection.

Finally, Elliott looked at you a little more seriously.

Elliott: "Y/n, I have to admit something. I felt there was some distance between us lately. I'm wrong?

Your heart missed a beat at his direct question, but you knew you had to be honest, even if it meant avoiding revealing your relationship with Taylor.

Y/n: "You're right, Elliott. I've been through a difficult time and I'm trying to untangle my own emotions."

Elliott seemed sympathetic, his hand touching yours gently.

Elliott: "If you need to talk or anything, I'm here for you."

A sense of gratitude overwhelmed you as you felt his sincere support.

Y/n: "Thank you, Elliott. That's really nice of you.

As the conversation continued, you felt a tension in the air, a silent expectation. Elliott was clearly looking to learn more about your personal life, but you had to be careful.

Y/n: "That's nice of you, Elliott, but I'd rather keep some of my privacy to myself right now. I hope you understand."

Elliott nodded, his smile not wavering: "Sure, y/n. I respect your choice.

The tension between you was almost palpable, and you knew it was time to change the subject.

Y/n: "Maybe we should change the subject. I'm sure there are so many interesting things we can talk about.

Elliott gratefully nodded, and the conversation turned to lighter, more neutral subjects. Despite the outstanding questions, you managed to spend a pleasant and even joyful moment, temporarily forgetting the complexities of your relationships.

However, as you let yourself be absorbed by his words, a slight noise at the door caught your attention. A shy blow was heard, followed by another. Your heart missed a beat recognizing the familiar rhythm of the blows.

Without thinking, you rushed to the door, leaving Elliott to his occupations, opening it hastily to discover Taylor standing there, a serious expression on her face.

Y/n: "Taylor?" you murmured, surprised by her sudden presence.

She looked at you intensely, her eyes expressing a multitude of emotions.

Taylor: "Y/n, I need to talk to you. I made an important decision, and I want to let you know.

You were shocked to see her there, right now.

Y/n: "Taylor, this is not really the right time now. You should have told me you were coming."

Taylor seemed determined, and she stepped forward to enter the apartment.

Taylor: "Look, I know this may sound unexpected, but it's something I need to tell you now."

You stepped back slightly, feeling overwhelmed by the situation.

Y/n: "Taylor, I can't let you in now."

Taylor was starting to wonder why you were acting so weird.

Taylor: "Why are you like this Y/n? Is there something I shouldn't see in your apartment? Are you hiding something from me?"

You were whispering not to alert Elliott, but as Taylor insisted, you felt a presence in the corner of your eye. You turned your head and saw Elliott gently approach the entrance, his eyes widening as he discovered Taylor's presence.

Elliott: "What...

he murmured, shocked by the scene in front of him. You felt trapped, realizing you couldn't hide the truth from Elliott anymore. You took a deep breath, then looked at Taylor with tears in her eyes.

Y/N: "Come in.

Taylor finally walked out the door, and you gave him a bewitched look of excuse before turning to Elliott. You had to explain everything to him, even if it meant revealing the secrets you had kept.

Elliott: "Why is there Taylor Swift in your driveway?? I'm dreaming or what."
